Die Wohnung liegt im Erdgeschoss links und hat insgesamt drei Zimmer. Das angebotene Zimmer ist eins der zwei zentralen großen Zimmer der Wohnung – mit Zugang sowohl zum Balkon als auch zum Wintergarten. Dadurch, dass das Zimmer nach Osten ausgerichtet ist, kannst du quasi mit der Sonne aufstehen, aber auch den Rest des Tages kommt genug Licht ins Zimmer. Da ich ausziehe, werde ich einen Teil der Möbel mitnehmen. Aber keine Panik, es wird trotzdem alles nötige für dich da bleiben: Bett, Schreibtisch, Kleiderschrank, kleines Bücherregal und ein Sessel, um es dir gemütlich zu machen :)
The flat is on the ground floor (first floor) and has three rooms in total. The offered room is one of the two big central rooms of the flat – it offers access to both the balcony and the winter garden. The room faces eastwards so you can get up with the sun. But there is also plenty of light throughout the rest of the day. Since I’m moving out, I’ll take some of the furniture with me. But don’t worry, there will still be everything you need: bed, desk, closet, a book shelf and a chair to get comfortable in :)
Die Lage in Kessenich ist perfekt: Direkt am Lidl und nicht mal eine Minute von der Straßenbahnhaltestelle entfernt (tagsüber fährt alle 5 Minuten in nur 11 Minuten bis zum Hauptbahnhof). Der neu gebaute Bahnhof UN Campus ist zu Fuß auch nur 10 Minuten entfernt. Das Kessenicher Zentrum mit Rewe, diversen Banken, DM, Döner und dem Haushaltswarenladen ist keine fünf Minuten entfernt, Venusberg und Rheinaue sind auch schnell mit dem Fahrrad und zu Fuß zu erreichen. Zwar ist auf der Hausdorffstraße tagsüber etwas mehr los, dafür wird es abends aber ruhiger und nachts kommt man auch immer sicher mit dem Nachtbus nach Hause.
The flat is situated perfectly: it is in Kessenich opposite of the Lidl and not even a minute away from the tram station (trams running every 5 minutes to Bonn central station). You can also walk to Bonn UN Campus in 10 minutes. Kessenich offers everything you need: Rewe, two bank branches, a DM, a kebab shop and a houseware store. The Hausdorffstraße might be busier throughout the day but it is nice and calm in the evening and you can always get home safe with the night buses which stop right in front of the house as well.
Du wirst mit Emma zusammenwohnen. Sie ist 24, arbeitet beim Internationalen Paralympischen Komitee und eine der entspanntesten Mitbewohnerinnen überhaupt. Sie kommt aus Schottland und lernt noch Deutsch, also werdet ihr euch auch eher auf Englisch unterhalten. Wenn es sich ergibt, haben wir immer gerne auf dem Balkon/in der Küche/im Gemeinschaftszimmer mit Wein oder Tee gesessen und gequatscht oder auch einfach nur Netflix geguckt. Emma ist da aber sehr entspannt, daher: alles kann, nichts muss ;)
You’ll be living with Emma. She’s 24, working for the International Paralympic Comitee and one of the most laid-back flat mates ever. She is from Scotland and starting to learn German, so you’ll be talking in English most of the time. When we had the time we both enjoyed sitting together on the balcony/in the kitchen/in our “common room”, had a tea or wine or just vegged out with some Netflix. As I said before, Emma is quite laid-back, so no pressure to keep this up if you’re too busy!
