Looking for furnished room beginning October 1, 2019, through October 1, 2020

Hi! I plan to attend a Master's program at the University of Bonn beginning in the fall and am looking for a furnished space with good access to public transportation, ideally from September 13, 2019 to at least June 30, 2020 (course is completed September 30, 2020). I have been working for the government in the US, and am now going back to school full time. I also have my certTESOL and have taught English, and am hoping to learn German while doing the course- right now my German is pretty basic.
I currently live in a house in the US with my partner, so I am super clean and organized and keep a tidy space. About me: I adore music, travel, running, hiking, and being active in the outdoors. I’m also a certified personal trainer. I love dogs (mine will stay in the US) but am allergic to cats.
I open to different districts around both Bonn and Cologne as long as they are within easy access to transportation and on a somewhat quiet street, but still near to shopping by foot. I'd like to live in an environment that is somewhat social with flatmates, enjoy some occasional shared cooking, attend music events, or have discussions over drinks; but I also enjoy my sleep. :)
I will be doing all of my home search from the US, which makes things difficult, but am happy to answer any questions, and do a video chat. Thank you!
