Hello! I am currently looking to rent out my beautiful room. The room is large and gets evening shade which keeps it very cool in the summer. There are windows along the whole wall so the room is very light which I love, but fear not, there are also black-out curtains so you can keep it dark in the mornings :)
Most of the furnirure is included in the room (bed, chair, desk + chair, closet, bookshelf) and i would leave the drawers if you want!
The flat is right by the Rosental stop, which serves the 550 bus and 61 tram that connect you to hbf within 10 minutes. You can also reach the 600/601 bus line with a 6 minute walk.
We are right across the street from the altstadt, which has tons of bars and pubs, and is lined with famous cherry blossom trees that bloom in the spring. You also only need a ten minute walk to reach Zentrum.
We’re perfectly situated between a Netto and Aldi, and just down the street from a Rewe so don’t worry about needing to carry your heavy groceries too far! It’s also nice because if you forget to buy eggs you can just run to the nearby Netto and be home again within 10 minutes.
Our wg consists of students (law, medicine, biosciences, psychology) and I love them with all of my heart! Whether you want to go to the gym, get some ice cream, walk on the Rhein, watch TV, grocery shop, or hit the bars there’s always someone to accompany you if you choose to ask :) the wg has a large kitchen as well as 2 showers and 2 toilets so it never feels too crowded and you never have to wait to use the bathroom! You’ll often find someone to hang out with you in the kitchen while you cook, but we all eventually retreat to our respective rooms so don’t worry if you need quiet time/ privacy. We’re a somewhat international flat so German is not required. We often do movie nights, aperol spritz nights, or picnics in Hofgartrn!
The building consists mainly of young people but there is a family that lives on the fourth floor as well. The building is also attached to a garage where you can rent a parking space, but it’s usually not too difficult to find parking on the street outside! The building has an elevator, a washing machine and dryer in the basement, and cleaning service that comes every other week. We also have a building-wide groupchat that we use to communicate fairly regularly.
Pets are not allowed :(
