As Laura is unfortunately moving to Guatemala, her room will become available. So, we are looking for a new person to join this family and the WG. We are a group of 5, and have a nice balance living together and hope to find someone that fits in with us :)
The room is located on the second floor of the shared apartment. It has one window to the south, which makes it very bright. And the best: Through the window you can go directly onto a flat roof (not a roof terrace, but can be used for breakfast or in the evening for a beer). The room has a small alcove in which a bed of up to 180 cm can be placed. At the moment there is a projector installed so you can what movies on a big screen straight out of the bed (very cosy and Lauras highlight)! The room can be taken over with furniture or without furniture. The rest of the flat is fully furnished!
The flat itself is at the back of the building, making it a very peaceful and quite place (even though it is in the lively Viertel area). The flat has 5 bedrooms that are spread over 2 floors and has a small living room and a huge living room with a balcony to enjoy the sun in the summer (or for smoking). The kitchen is fully equipped and we have a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom, so no need to bring anything.
The location of the apartment is very central, in the middle of 'Viertel' (Steintor) and everything one needs is right on our doorstep. There are several shops within a 2-minute walk (Rewe, Alnatura), public transport connections to Trams 2, 3 and 10, bakeries, post offices, cinemas, pharmacies, cafes, pubs and much more. It is a 5 minutes walk to the Weser or the stadium. The Viertel is very lively, but since the flat itself is in the back of the building, we don't hear much noise from the streets.
We are a mix between marine scientists, space engineer, teacher and social worker, come from various backgrounds and speak several languages, but it is very harmonious and respectful co-living. Usually our communication is mainly in English, aber wir sprechen auch Deutsch (et Français, Espagnol, Italiano or sometimes other languages mixed in)!
We're all music lovers, cook regularly, watch Netflix or movies when time permits, go on picnics and bike rides together or swimming in Werdersee when it's nice out. We do things together when we want and can, but it is not a must and everyone has their own lives as well. We are not a party flat, but we are quite social. We might organise a party every now and then, and go out to bars or dancing sometimes. We like to have fun, but we also like to keep the flat clean and organised. During 'working days', we are all studying or working, often from home, so it is important to be mindful of each other and not disturb anyone. Our coexistence is relaxed and harmonious. Everyone should feel comfortable here and mutual respect is very important to us. If you see yourself fitting in this setting, please write to us :)
As Laura (beginning of July) and Lorenzo (beginning of June) will leave the flat, we are looking for two new flatemates to join our family!

The next flat casting appointment is scheduled next Monday (06.05.2024) and Tuesday (the 07.05.) and takes place in the evening. You could pass by in person (prefered) or we could meet online via Skype. If next Monday or Tuesday does not fit you at all just write us a message and we'll find a solution.
