The vacant room is 15 square meters with a window facing east, so you always get the sun in the morning. A nice young family lives in the house opposite. The high ceilings make the room look larger and there is plenty of storage space upstairs. The large, high windows are typical of old buildings.
The room is furnished with 1 shelf, 1 huge cupboard, 1 large closet, 2 tables, 1 simple chair, 1 office chair, 1 bed and 1 mattress.
It couldn't be better. The apartment is super central and is located in the beautiful Martinsviertel, here you are very well connected.
The Taunusplatz bus stop is right outside the front door, about 1 minute on foot. You walk 15 min to the city center and 10 min to the TU and Library. Grocery stores Rewe and Penny are at 5 mins walking distance.
Mathilden-/Rosenhöhe and Bürgerpark are around the corner and in less than 15 minutes you can reach the Kranichsteiner Wald by bike.
There are numerous public parking spaces, e.g. at Riegerplatz or along the streets. Of course it gets crowded in the evening, but you can always find something at Messplatz/Bürgerpark.
Your new flatmates will be Christian (31), who is currently working on his doctorate in astrophysics, and Sanjay (24), who came to Darmstadt from India and is now studying aeronautical engineering.
Our temporary flatmate should of course be tidy and friendly, at least outside their own room.
The level of cleanliness is flexible. It is important to us that all needs are taken seriously.
The stairwell and outside areas are cleaned regularly by a service provided by the property management.
Our shared flat is definitely a warm place where you feel at home because you can be who you are.
We like to sit together in our mini living room or in the largest shared room and chat over dinner.
The room is available ONLY for sublet from 13.11.2023 to 31.01.2024. No city registration is possible. A sublet contract would be made. A deposit of 500€ is required. If you agree to the above terms, feel free to drop me text.
