Beautiful, big and cozy room near Düsseldorf Hbf.
Lots of space and light coming from the windows, really quiet and a great place to be. Happy to have been living here, I'm leaving the room because I'm moving away, but had a great time and felt really comfortable here!
The total monthly price is 620€ and includes all expenses, WiFi and cleaning services for the common areas. The room is fully furnished: bed (135 cm wide) mattress, desk, chair, wardrobe, bedside table... The kitchen also has plenty of stuff you can use: pan, pots, plates... You don't need to buy anything, just bring your own stuff!!
There is also a dishwasher, kettle, oven, washing machine and a comfy table for you and your flatmates. The bathroom is divided into two: bathtub and toilet, so it's great when it comes to sharing it!
I am also selling some of the things I brought for the apartment myself since I'm moving away and cannot take them with me: mirror, bookshelf, sheet, duvet and towels (bought them in October from IKEA and Primark). We can discuss the price for them if you're interested :)
20 mins by foot to the Altstadt (through the beautiful Königsallee), and to the Rheinturm and the river. 15 mins to Shadowstraße, where you'll find all the main retail shops. You can also walk to the Volksgarten to relax in only 25 mins. The K21 Kunstsammlung is really close as well.
5 mins to Düsseldorf Hbf and Oststraße, so you can easily travel anywhere in Germany. The closest public transport is the tram stop just across the street (Stresemannplatz), even though you don't need much transportation to move around the city.
The neighbourhood has plenty of cafés, restaurants and shops. There is also a Rewe just across the street and a Lidl next to Düsseldorf Hbf. Just around the corner you'll find the Japanese Viertel (Immermannstraße and its surroundings) where there are lots of awesome restaurants and Asian supermarkets.
You'll be living with 2 young uni students. Really nice and friendly. Everyone has their own space but also time for fun together if you want!
One of my flatmates will be staying here: he's nice, respectful, quiet and takes care of the apartment. The other one is leaving soon so a new tenant will come at the end of the month.
You'll be sharing the kitchen and bathrooms. Don't worry about cleaning: once a week the common areas will be professionally cleaned (included in the rent).
The renting period is minimum 6 months. Text me if you're interested! Online and in person visits available.
The landlady wants to get to know you before signing the contract, nevertheless she's really approachable and friendly!
