Hallo :) Ich bin Tom, 22 und studiere Internationale Beziehungen an der Uni Erfurt. Da ich ab Mitte/Ende August in mein Auslandssemester in Kolumbien abreisen werde, möchte ich mein kleines Zimmerchen gern in der Zeit von August 2024 bis März 2025 (8 Monate) untervermieten.
Das Zimmer ist zwar klein, wie ich finde aber dennoch sehr gemütlich und wohnlich. Das Fenster ist nach Westen gerichtet, weshalb wunderschön die Abendsonne hereinfällt. Und durch die hohe Decke funktioniert das hölzerne Hochbett super (man hat mehr als genug Stauraum oben). Ich werde meine Möbel (Holzschreibtisch, Ikearegal, Bücherregal oben sowie Matratze und Lattenrost) im Zimmer lassen. Zusätzlich gibt es noch eine Hängematte von Balken zu Balken, sodass man richtig gemütlich entspannen kann.
Gerne können wir aber auch nochmal absprechen was genau drin bleiben soll. Auch über die Kaution lässt sich natürlich verhandeln.

Hi :) I'm Tom, 22 and I'm studying International Relations at the University of Erfurt. As I will be leaving for my semester abroad in Colombia from mid/end of August, I would like to sublet my small room from August 2024 to March 2025 (8 months).
The room is small, but I think it is still very cozy and homely. The window faces west, so the evening sun shines in beautifully. And the high ceiling makes the wooden loft bed work really well (you have more than enough storage space upstairs). I will leave my furniture (wooden desk, Ikea shelf, bookshelf upstairs, mattress and slatted frame) in the room. There is also a hammock from beam to beam so that you can really relax in comfort.
However, we can also discuss what exactly should remain inside. Of course, we can also negotiate the deposit.
Unsere WG ist sehr zentral gelegen. Zum Bahnhof sind es nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß, die Straßenbahnanbindung ist sehr gut und in die Innenstadt ist es auch nicht weit. Der nächste Netto ist auch in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Direkt nebenan liegt der Stadtpark, und etwas weiter auch der Südpark mit vielen Sportmöglichkeiten. Zur Uni sind es mit dem Rad 15min und mit der Bahn ca. 20min, die FH ist näher. Im Haus und der Umgebung gibt es mehrere WG's, weshalb auch öfter mal eine Party stattfindet. Grundsätzlich ist die Lage aber dennoch sehr ruhig, vor allem Richtung Hinterhof. Da gibt es dann auch Stellplätze für Fahrräder. Platz im Kellerabteil lässt sich bei Bedarf auch finden.

Our shared flat is very centrally located. It's only a 10-minute walk to the train station, the streetcar connection is very good and it's not far to the city center either. The nearest Netto supermarket is also just a few minutes' walk away. The city park is right next door, and a little further on is the Südpark with lots of sports facilities. The university is 15 minutes by bike and about 20 minutes by train, the university of applied sciences is closer. There are several shared flats in the building and the surrounding area, which is why there are often parties. However, the location is generally very quiet, especially towards the backyard. There are also parking spaces for bicycles. There is also space in the cellar compartment if required.
Von den aktuellen fünf Mitbewohner:innen gehen (inkl. mir) drei ab dem Sommer ins Ausland. Die WG wird also etwas neu zusammengewürfelt. Bisher war unser Zusammenleben super familiär. Ständig wird zusammen gekocht, es läuft immer irgendwo Musik und oft steht auch in anderen Zimmern die Tür offen. Auf dem großen Balkon kann man super essen oder lesen, und die Gemeinschaftsküche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht.
Luis studiert an der FH Stadt- und Raumplanung und wird nach seinem Praktikum im Sommer ab Oktober wieder in der Wohnung wohnen. Er ist super lieb und immer für ne Radtour, Party oder ein Käffchen zu haben.
Jonah studiert Gartenbau an der FH und ist der ruhigste und gemütlichste in der WG. Er wird die ganze Zeit über in der Wohnung wohnen.
Marie geht ab September nach Sevilla ins Ausland. Sie ist also nur noch den ersten Monat da. Sie studiert Internationale Beziehungen an der Uni und lässt meistens in der Küche aus Versehen was verschimmeln.
Alle die ins Ausland gehen werden ihre Zimmer ebenfalls untervermieten, deshalb wird sich die Zusammensetzung und Dynamik ganz neu entwickeln.

Three of the current five flatmates (including me) will be going abroad in the summer. So the flat share will be a bit of a shake-up. So far, our life together has been super informal. We're always cooking together, there's always music playing somewhere and the door is often open in other rooms. The large balcony is great for eating or reading, and the communal kitchen is equipped with everything you need.
Luis is studying urban and spatial planning at the University of Applied Sciences and will be living in the apartment again from October after his internship in the summer. He is super friendly and always up for a bike ride, a party or a coffee.
Jonah is studying horticulture at the University of Applied Sciences and is the quietest and coziest in the flat share. He will be living in the apartment the whole time.
Marie is going abroad to Seville in September. So she'll only be there for the first month. She's studying International Relations at university and usually accidentally lets something go moldy in the kitchen.
Ich freue mich wenn du dich meldest und wir vielleicht einen Termin zum Besichtigen vereinbaren können.
WICHTIG: Bitte nur anfragen, wenn du den vollen Zeitraum (meinetwegen + - 2 Wochen oder so) in der Wohnung wohnen willst. Also nicht nur 3 Monate etc.

IMPORTANT: Please only ask if you want to live in the apartment for the full period (+ - 2 weeks or so). So not just 3 months etc.
