Greetings future housemate. My current housemate is leaving and I am looking for someone to share with. The room is a reasonable size (3.5m x 4.5m) and is warm and comfortable. There are 3 electricity plugs in the room. It has parquet flooring. My current flatmate is moving back to Spain and there is an option to buy any of his furniture as he would rather leave it.
The really special thing about this apartment is its location. 5 minutes walk from Konstablerwache and 2 minutes walk from Strassenbahn lines 11, 12 & 14. The building is in a courtyard surrounded by other buildings so, even though right in the heart of the city, there is almost zero noise from the street. The apartment has a basement as well as a room for locking up bicycles.
I speak pretty good German but would prefer to find someone who speaks English to share the apartment with. I do not mind whether you are German, English or from anywhere else. I get on with all nationalities. It would also be nice to find someone who is social and who doesn't mind sharing things such as cooking on occasions. I make a cracking Spaghetti Bolognese.
If you are interested then please write to me and tell me a little about yourself. Remember to include your age and telephone number so I can call you to come see the apartment. You should also know that if I pick you to move in, my landlord has asked for copies of your last three payslips.
As for me, I am English and have lived in Frankfurt for over 3 years now. I am into online computer gaming, going to the cinema or to English stand up comedy nights. My intention is to move to Berlin at some point in the next few months so there will be an opportunity to change to my room which is almost twice as large.
Then you can find a flatmate of your own to take the other room or take on the apartment yourself.
IMPORTANT - I am a 42 year old guy. I will not be accepting applications from people in their twenties. My advert says 35 to 50 Years old and yet I am being bombarded with applications from people in their mid twenties. Please don't waste my time.
