Hi there,
I (Adrien) am living in this amazing WG for 7 years now, and I will leave from 02.06.24 to 09.06.24. My rent is 550€/month, so for 7 days it would be: 130€. I can be a bit flexible with the dates, let's talk about it :)
The room is fully furnished, you have a double bed, a big desktop, a sound system, a meditation place, a gym, and I'll make some space for your clothes and stuff.
Don't hesitate to write me, and we will find a way to arrange our needs.
The flat is very central, located between the train station and the Platz der Alten Synagogue (where open-air activities and various demonstrations often take place). The area has many bars, zero waste & eco shops, cafés, restaurants, bike repair shops, etc! The street is relatively quiet for a city center location.
About your future flatmates:
- Adrien, French guy, is a web developer working for an environmental NGO, he loves permaculture, health and political topics, reading, and playing games. He is also the Hauptmieter and is almost vegan.
- Christian, German guy who will move in with us mid-October.
- Miriam, German girl, does a physics phd and is able to repair anything in the flat. A Proper Freiburger, she loves biking and her multiple fermentation cultures, most notably sourdough Marvin. She is vegetarian.
- Amelie, German girl, is a student of Environmental Governance. She is vegan, meditates on a daily basis, likes to engage with topics and practices related to socio-ecological justice, politics and personal development and enjoys physical activities such as yoga, running, hiking, swimming and dancing.
- Vera, German girl, works for the Energy Agentur, loves puzzles, board games, parties, knitting and singing in the flat :)
We all get along well, sharing values of care, support, respect, ecology, and cleanliness. We spend quite some time together since we are often doing home office or home university. Although we have different personalities and lives, it's nice to meet naturally in the evenings, to cook and/or chat whenever it matches. We also propose to each other some veggie/vegan dinner or another activity now and then (e.g. sushi or pizza nights, documentary/film, board games, puzzles, pilates session, crafting, etc).
Being pretty multicultural, we mostly speak English in the WG, but you may grasp conversations in French. We are eager to learn new languages and cultures. So get in touch!
