2-er WG Zwischenmiete

Hello!

I am looking for someone to join me in a 2er shared flat, as my current flat mate will be doing a study abroad program. Ideally, I am looking for a woman, late 20’s early 30’s who is employed. If you’re outside these parameters and believe you are a good fit, I am open to other possibilities :)

The room:
14sq meters in size, with access to a shared balcony. It will naturally already have the basic furniture (bed, couch, clothing hanger etc.). Of course, all the personal things will be in the cellar, so you will be able to make the room your own and hopefully feel at home. If you could watch the plants, that would be highly appreciated!
 
The apartment:
Located right by the tram stop “Paula Moderson Platz” in Vauban. Alnatura, Rewe, Aldi, DM, Döner shops, and a Farmers market on Wednesdays, are all within a 5 min walk.
With the tram, it takes 12 minutes to “Bertoldsbrunnen” and probably the same time to get to the city center/train station by bike. The car parking in front of the house is paid, but there is free parking in a 5-minute walking distance.
There are wonderful forests (20min by foot) and paths all around to find yourself in nature.
The kitchen is bright and has a table that seats four people (and can also be extended). We have all basic kitchen utensils (including good knives!) and a dishwasher. The bathroom is updated with a bathtub and washing machine. The balcony gets sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon, which is quite ideal. Also, it has a nice view on the forest and vineyards.
The building itself is modern with an elevator and access to secure bike storage. Each tenant is integrated in a cleaning schedule, which you and I would do together.
As for our apartment, we keep it quite tidy and clean it regularly (min 1x/week). This is essential, especially because the apartment itself is modest in size (52sq m) all together.


The space:
Our home has been cultivated intentionally and with lots of love, therefore it’s imperative that the person living here has respect for our space.
As you can see in the floor plan and as mentioned above, the apartment is quaint in size- this means that there’s no buffer for sounds from the kitchen to our rooms and vice versa.
Of course it’s less of an issue in the day time but in the night hours, it’s very important to be conscientious and caring incase someone is home sleeping/resting.

Roomie:
My name is Rachel :) I work in nursing in the field of Gynäkologie. I’m from Colorado and have lived in Freiburg for just over 3 years. I speak English and German :)
I like to go running, wandering thru the forest and snowboarding. Also recently got into Pilates, which I really enjoy. Otherwise listening to music and chilling with my friends is what I get up to.

The duration is a minimum of 2 months with the possibly to extend it to 4 months. We can talk more about this in person :)
