Das Zimmer ist relativ klein, irgendwas zwischen 6 und 7 m^2, aber es gibt zusätzlich einen großen Wandschrank, ein Fenster und wir haben ein Schlafsofa und einen kleinen Schreibtisch drin stehen. Es hat also hoffentlich alles was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt braucht ;) Die Wohnung besteht ansonsten aus einem weiteren Zimmer, einem Bad mit Dusche und Toilette und einem großen Zimmer das Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer und Küche zugleich ist. Außerdem hat das große Zimmer einen Balkon, auf dem man sitzen und gerne auch rauchen kann, wenn man denn will (wir sind Nichtraucher).
The room is relatively small, between 6 and 7 m^2, but additionally there is big wall closet, a window and we put in a sleeping couch and desk. So hopefully you have everything you need for a short term stay. The rest of the flat consists of one other room, a bathroom with toilet and shower and a big room combining the kitchen, the living room and the dining room. Plus, there is a balcony to sit on and to smoke if you need that (we are nonsmokers).
Die Wohnung ist in einem 8-stöckigen Gebäude in Weingarten, wir haben freien Blick von unserem Balkon auf den Schönberg und auf der anderen Seite fließt die Dreisam vorbei. Zwei große Straßen gehen auch ums Haus, aber nachts und am Woe ist es ziemlich ruhig. Der Dietenbachpark liegt direkt (wirklich direkt) hinter dem Haus und lässt sich mit seinem See und den Sportgeräten wie einen riesigen Garten benutzen. Die Tram Station (Linie 3) ist gleich vor der Tür und mit dem Fahrrad braucht man so 10-15 min in die Innenstadt.
The house has 8 levels and we have a really nice, open view to the Schönberg, the Dreisam flows on the other side. There are two big streets around the house, but at night and weekends it is quite calm. The Dietenbachpark is directly behind the house and we use it as "our" huge garden, with its lake and sports equipments. The tram station (Line 3) is in front of the door, with the bike you need around 10-15 minutes into the Citycenter.
Wir wohnen eigentlich zu zwei als Paar in der Wohnung, aber ich (Leonie) bin jetzt erst mal ein paar Wochen für ein Praktikum weg und du würdest dir die Wohnung mit Hauke teilen. Die Gemeinschaftsräume und die Kücheneinrichtung stehen dir natürlich genauso zur Verfügung wie uns.
Normally we live here as a couple, but since I (Leonie) will be away for an internship for a few weeks, you would share the flat with Hauke. Of course you can use the common rooms and the kitchen equipment as we do.
Wir dachten uns, dass das Zimmer vielleicht jemandem als Startpunkt in Freiburg dienen kann, die Suche nach einem dauerhaften Zuhause ist vor Ort ja doch einfacher... Falls im November noch ein paar Tage mehr nötig sind, lässt sich das sicher regeln. Wir freuen uns auf ein nette Mitbewohnerin/einen netten Mitbewohner und eure Nachrichten!

We thought our room might help someone as a starting point in Freiburg, since searching for a room is much easier if you are already in town. In case you should need some more days in November, we can work it out. We are looking forward to a nice flatmate and your messages!
