Dear room searchers,
Our roommate is leaving the flat because she got a new job in another city so we are now looking for someone who would rent his room starting from 01.07.2023.
It is a medium-size room and it is FULLY FURNISHED (single bed, mattress, closet, desk, bed table, chair). You can change the furniture as you wish. The previous tenant is selling her bedframe and mattress for 50 euros, if you would like. See picture for reference.
One of the best advantages of this flat is the location. The WG is located in Stühlinger, 10 mins by bike from the city center, and it has two tram stations nearby (6 mins walking from the flat). It is close to the main grocery shops like Rewe, Aldi, BioLaden (near the Westarkaden). You can also find several gyms nearby and if you are more an outdoor person you can go to Seepark. There are 2 other families living in the building, and the house is in a nice, quiet and residential neighborhood.
Leonardo (26 y) is a professional classical musician, he is in the second semester of his studies in the Musikhochschule. He is often not at home because he has different projects in other cities, but when he is in Freiburg, he likes to do outdoor sports, cook together and hang out with friends on the weekends. He loves sushi! He's a happy, friendly and easy going guy.
Me, Mona (25 y), I study my masters in Political Sciences at Uni Freiburg. I am always up for cooking something together, watching movies/series or going out. I love hiking and now that it's summer, I am really looking forward to spending time outdoors.
Leonardo is from Mexico and I am from France, so it's quite a diverse atmosphere. We do speak German and English, and are actually learning each other's languages. We are open to anyone from anywhere :-)
Sometimes we cook together, and we like spending time together after work/studies like going for a walk, going out, watching movies, etc.
We are looking for someone open-minded, not complicated and a friendly person. We expect our next roomie to be clean and to follow the cleaning plan that we have for every week. In the flat we speak English, but we wouldn't mind switching to German.
We would like to hear from you! So when applying tell us a little bit about yourself, what do you do, hobbies... Afterwards we can arrange a meeting so that you can visit the flat and we can also meet you.
Our landlady expects that you stay in the flat for at least a year.
