The apartment has a well-equipped kitchen, one sitting room with a TV, sofa, and extra a space to add a desk to work from home. Another spacious dining room with an expanding table, four chairs and lots of board games. One bathroom with bathtub & shower, one toilet for guests, and two rooms of 20 sqm. Last but not least, a big shared balcony that looks into the Wiehre neighborhood and Johanneskirche with a barbecue grill, table and chairs to enjoy the sun in the afternoon.
Your room has just been renovated last year in September, and is almost ready for you to move in without adding extra furniture. That means that you will need to take over most of the furniture as one of the conditions for moving into the apartment (a table with the price for all the package and details will be provided). Almost everything (wardrobe, fitted shelves, curtain rails and curtains, lamp, organizer & carpet) needs to be purchased except the bed, armchair and plants. It's located on the quiet side, so nobody will wake you up if resting is what you look for.
The apartment is located in the main avenue of the beautiful Wiehre neighborhood. If you walk for 10 minutes in one direction, you will find yourself in the Dreisam (river) and the city center, and if you choose to go in the other direction, you will find the starting point of the hiking trails towards the Black Forest.
There is an Aldi on the ground floor of the building, an Edeka right in the corner and a Rewe that opens until 12 (something rare to find in Germany 😅) 5 min away by foot. There is an organic store next to the building, food market at the Wiehre Alter Bahnhof, plenty of cafés, a couple of restaurants, bars and fast food stores, a DM, Pharmacy, and even three flower shops.
You will be staying with my flatmate, Thomas. He's German, very chill, and works as an engineer in Freiburg. When he’s not at the office, he’s doing cool gimnastics tricks 🤸🏻♂️
