Hey there,
if you are searching for a room close to the center to Freiburg but still want to go out into nature, this is it!
The room is located directly ajacant to the river Dreisam and the forest is within 3 min on foot. YOu cacn reach the center of Freiburg within 10 min by bike or 13 min by tram.
The room is in a shared apartment within a dorm (AWO-Wohnheim).
The room is partially furnished, so you don't need to bring a bed, chair, table or cupboard. The flat has two balconies and a wonderful view over Freiburg and the nearby mountains, as it is located on the 7th floor of the building.
The dorm also has a big party room with a rooftop balcony (wonderful to have a barbecue up there), table tennis, foosball etc.
Near the dorm there is a shopping mall with everything you need like pharmacy, grocery stores (REWE, Aldi, Alnatura), a kebab etc.
You can reach the city center by tram with the line 1, at the stop "Alter Messplatz".
The sport center of the uni Freiburg is neary, so if you like to play soccer or go to the gym you just need to get on your bike and ride for 5 mins.
You can decide if you want to have much contact with your flatmates or rather be for yourself. The flat is big enough to avoid contact but you also have many nice flatmates, that like to have a chat or cook together.
There is a cleaning lady that cleans the floor, showers and toilets every day. You just have to keep the kitchen clean yourself.
You have to be an enrolled student (not necessarily university of Freiburg, any university will do) to rent the room.
The room is limited from the 01.02.2020 to the 30.03.2020, but you have a good chance to rent the room permanent after this time.
The rent includes everything: internet, room rent, hot water, power etc.
