One room is available from 15.10.2022 in a five-room flat share. The free room has 8 m2. It gets plenty of sunlight and has a high ceiling. There is a slight incline, but the ceiling is high enough that it doesn't bother you much. The room is unfurnished and was just renovated last year. One chair and one big table remain and can be taken over for free or discarded if desired.
The apartment has a beautiful and bright kitchen. We got it completely new a few months ago. It has plenty of storage space and a small dining table. In addition to the fridge in the kitchen, we also have one in the hall. So there is enough space for everyone. With 14 m2, our hallway is quite large, so you can easily put a drying rack or something similar there. The bathroom is a bit smaller but is functional and bright. We share the washing machines with the neighbors. There are two in the basement that we use.
The location is ideal for every student. On the Kreuzbergring, there is something for everyone. It is located just directly opposite the central campus, with almost every supermarket right around the corner and only 300 m from the city center. The apartment is easy to reach, by public transport, bike or car. You get to the apartment via a backyard that we share with other flat shares. So there is enough space for bicycles, a car or a few chairs in the afternoon sun.
Sadly, I am moving this week, but you will get friendly flatmates instead. Lila, Zhi, and Nilanjan currently live in the shared flat. Soon Henriette will also move in. They all are studying. Zhi philosophy, and Nilanjan, first-year Ph.D. Lila and Henriette, Agricultural Sciences. German and English are spoken in the WG ( Nilanjan is also learning German). Not all of them are always in the flat, but it's never completely empty. But you are never alone in the apartment, and everyone appreciates the casual moments shared. The flatshare life is pretty quiet. We usually meet in the kitchen, which is big enough for everyone.

185 Euros corresponds to the monthly rent/Miete. In addition, 170 Euros Kaution (one time) must be paid. Energy, Internet and GEZ are paid on top of the prevoius values (total value split among flatmates). Energy used to be around 33 Euros, but in Germany we are now seeing huge increases in gas and electricity prices. Thus, a rice on the stated values is expected accordingly.
