Your room is furnished with a bed (140x200 cm), a desk, deskchair and picture wall(to hang up personal idems), a shelf and a closet. The large window in the room (facing towards the sky) lightens up the room.
The room itself has only a surface of about 12 m2, however the common room (with a kitchen and living area) is big and has a lot of space. It´s the highlight of the apartment. In the common room there is also an inside faced balcony, where you can hang out in the spring and summer. As you can see, there is enough space. :)
The entire flat has a surface area of about 78 m2. The bedrooms are relatively small, however the common room (kitchen + living room) is spacious and cozy, including a kitchen island, a big table and a couch (+TV) with a couch table. The flat has a dishwasher and a washing machine.
The bathroom is also pretty spacious. It includes a toilett, a shower, a sink, 2 shelfs and a washing machine.
Generally, the apartment is in very good shape due to the fact that it was fully renovated just a few years ago.
The location is perfect for students: The flat is on the 2nd floor of a building, which is located just 10 minutes walking distance away from the medical university Graz as well as from the Karl Franzens University. The apartment is situated very close to the university quarter. The closest university is the University of Music and Performing Arts, which is only 5 minutes by foot away from the flat. To get to the Technical University it takes about 10 minutes by bike.
The flat is situated directly in the Leonhardstraße. In this street as well as in other streets close by, you can find countless cafés, restaurants, bars and clubs. Also, there is a grocery store just down the street as well as access to public transportation.
To get to the city center, it also doesn´t take longer than 15 min walking or 5-10 min by bike.
The room layout of the apartment is perfect for a sociable and comfortable apartment life. Your roomate Johanna ( 21, just finished studying design ) is looking forward to an open-minded roommate. She is very talented and plays a lot of instruments as well as sings. She has a very socialble and helpful personality.
Extra bonus for exchange students: she has also been abroad as an exchange student, so she might be able to help you with her experience :)
Of course in our apartment, we are also very considerate if someone needs some privacy or a calm atmosphere to study. Overall, we enjoy having a shared and social apartment life together.
The moving in/out date is flexible, since I don´t know yet when exactly I am going to leave and return.

All my stuff in the bedroom picture will be gone, except for the furniture. If you want to, you can have my pillow, blanket and bedsheets for the semester.
