This is a loft room, connected with the living room with a staircase with no door at the end of it, only a handmade covering. However the living room is closed off (has a door that you can close to separate yourself from the rest of the flat), so we would not use the living room that much (or at all) while you would rent the room, and make sure we give you enough privacy. Our friend who the loft room is reserved for is staying abroad right now and is looking for sub tenants in the meantime, probably until Feb 15. We are M.(32, M) and F., (23, F), both foreigners, working full time, he in engineering, and I'm in gastronomy. We sometimes hang out and cook together so if you want to, that is absolutely an option, but it's not a must. We just recently moved in, so we have furnished the apartment a bit, but some things are still to come, we don't have a washing machine, for example. 30-40 mins from the city centre, and a short bus ride from the Barmbek station (with buses that come very often, every 5 mins or so). Important: your room is not furnished, so you would need to at least bring something to sleep on, to start with.
