Four of us live in a townhouse with a private garden in Ismaning. Our WG has a magical family charm and an adventurous history.
The room is 22 sq. m and has its own access to the garden. It is not furnished and is rented for an indefinite period under a direct contract with the owner (preferably for at least 1 year).
The room is one of two rooms on the ground floor, where there are our own kitchen and bathroom, which you will share with me, Anastasiia. The other three girls – Vivi, Paula and Alba – share the upper floor and are also part of our wonderful WG :)
The transport connections are very good. We are only a 3-minute walk from the Wasserturmstraße bus stop, where you can get on:
- 231 bus in the direction of München-Studentenstadt (15 min). Then with U6 line, it's about 10 mins to Marienplatz.
- 231 bus direction S-Bahn Ismaning (5 min). From there it is about 20 min by S-Bahn to the Munich main station.
It's a short walk to the Ismaning S-Bahn station, but that's also about 15 minutes.
You can also bring your bike with you, so in less than half an hour you will be in Munich or even in the surrounding area (Unterföring etc.) quickly on your way! :)
With the S-Bahn line S8 we have excellent connections all night long, especially to the airport, which is only 15 minutes away.
In addition, Edeka is a 5-minute walk away or Netto is a 10-minute walk away, as well as various doctors and everything you need for everyday life. The most beautiful thing about Ismaning is also the Isar, which can be reached in just 5 minutes on foot.
Although Ismaning is a small community, it is close to Munich and has all the advantages of a suburb with beautiful nature and very nice people!
Your roommates are Anastasiia, 28, who will be living with you on the ground floor, our chick Vivi, 24, Paula, 24, and Alba, 31. I am (Anastasiia) Ukrainian🇺🇦, I studied psychology and worked in the PR and event industry, now I'm pursuing my second master's. Upstairs: Vivi 🇩🇪 works in real estate in Munich, Paula 🇩🇪 is a flight attendant and a student in Psychology, and Alba 🇪🇸 is a flight attendant too with Swiss Airlines. So all four are currently working, but will be there (in the evening).
All the girls are very nice and will be happy to meet an open, friendly and mature person. Therefore, you should be interested not only in living in a WG, but also be ready to share some time for evenings of cooking, watching Netflix or something else together!
🗑️A certain degree of cleanliness and WG obligations such as cleaning services, etc. you should of course also bring for our beautiful "own" Ismaninger villa :)
🇺🇸We're quite international and speak not only German, but also English (especially at the ground floor:) and Spanish, so it would be great if you don't mind switching sometimes :)
