Large furnished room for temporary rent 2 months, €170 a month, warm. No anmeldung/Wohnungsgeberbescheinigung, this is a sublet.

I have a large room for rent temporarily, February 3rd to end of March, warm, because I am travelling. Please note: It is only 1 room, not the entire apartment!

A large, sunny and furnished bedroom on the second floor (one floor above ground level) for temporary rent, 2 months, in in Friedrichsort. Rent includes WiFi, heating, electricity and water (but please don't waste it!). For a clean, quiet male or female. You will share the apartment with a male Chinese student.

Furniture includes the following:
1) Single bed, + blanket (no pillow as I usually don't use one)
2) Large dining table, chair
3) Arm chair
4) Epson Scanner (printer needs a new "maintenance box" and ink, if you like, you are welcome use the printer if you buy these yourself. I only use the scanner).
5) Small wardrobe
6) There are also tables and chairs in the small kitchen.
7) Fridge, washing machine, oven, 2 pots (small and large) and a wok, electric stove, microwave + rice cooker*.

The Apartment
The apartment is a 3 room apartment, 2 bedrooms and 1 living room. The room for rent is in the living room. There is a door, and you can lock the door. There are 2 windows so it is nice and bright. Unfortunately, there are no curtains.
*You will share will share the apartment with 1 flatmate, a male student from China, he speaks English but no German. Normally I share the cost of groceries with him. The *rice cooker belongs to him, but we share it for dinner sometimes. The room is suitable for either a female (If you don't mind sharing the apartment with a male) or a male, and you can use my bed, no problem, as long as you keep everything clean.) We take turns cooking and taking out the trash, although there is no set schedule.

The apartment is located in a small residential street in a cul de sac. There is construction building a new apartment outside the door. Otherwise, it is generally very quiet.

In the building are other students. There are 2 apartments on every floor. There are 2 students across the hall, and 2 more upstairs, all male. Currently there is an old German lady downstairs. Someone moved out of the the other apartment downstairs recently, not sure if anyone will move in soon.

Transport and shops, restaurants:
There are bus stops nearby: Bus 12 and 91 are about 260m away flat walk, and bus 13 is about 550-600m away downhill (return is uphill in case you have luggage). Recently, bus 13 is also stopping nearby. The location is approximately 40 minutes by bus to Kiel Hauptbahnhof, or 31-32 minutes to Ansgar Kirche and Dreiecksplatz bus stop where there are a lot of shops and restaurants, no need to change buses.

Bus 91 comes once every 30 minutes, and it is a 7 minute ride to a local shopping area, with Aldi, Rewe, Rossmann, Apotheke, Tedi, Chinese restaurant, and 2 doner shops immediately at the bus stop. Every Friday, there is a cart that sells roast chicken. You can also walk there or ride your bicycle, it is about 1.5km away.

I have a scanner in my room. The printer used to work, but now needs more ink and a new maintenance box. If you want to use the printer, you are welcome to do so, but you will have to buy the maintenance box and ink yourself. There is plenty of paper already available. You can also print at Rewe for 10 cents a page black and white, from a USB.
There is no balcony. STRICTLY NO SMOKING, NOT EVEN OUTDOORS. This is because cigarette smells stay on your clothes and body and I do not want the smell transferring to my bedding and furniture.

Please note!!:
1) I will keep my suitcase in the room.
2) The old lady used to complain a lot about practically non-existent noise. So, please don't talk a lot in the hallway, and no using the washing machine late at night. Once she came to complain before 9pm and it was a Friday or Saturday.
3) Please only eat in the kitchen. This is to prevent odours in the bedroom and food/spills/stains on the furniture/ground. (My roommate might eat in his own room but that is his choice. Please do not eat meals in my room. Water and snacks, sandwiches are okay.)
4) The 2 students across the hall share our washing machine. Sometimes I borrow their broom to sweep the floor in our apartment. The internet is provided by one of the students across the hall, and we share it.
5) I cannot provide a Wohnungsgeberbescheinigung since I rent the place.
6) No pets allowed
