Filmstudentin sucht neues BIPoC-freundliches Zuhause / Filmstudent looking for new BIPoC friendly home

Hallo! :)

Ich heiße Lê (sie/ihr) und bin eine Viet-deutsche Filmstudentin, ursprünglich aus der Lüneburger Heide in Niedersachsen.

Nach meinem Kulturwissenschaftsstudium in Hildesheim bin ich vor sechs Jahren nach München gezogen, um Dokumentarfilm und Fernsehpublizistik an der Filmhochschule zu studieren. Obwohl ich hier sehr gute Freund*innenschaften geschlossen habe, wurde ich nie richtig warm mit München und fühle mich hier oft fremd und nicht besonders verbunden mit den Menschen und der Stadt. Da ich keine Seminare mehr belegen muss und nur noch meinen Abschlussfilm vorbereiten muss und eh ständig ans wegziehen denke, dachte ich, ist das jetzt der richtige Zeitpunkt für eine neue Stadt. :)

In Leipzig war ich bereits ein paar mal und habe bis jetzt ein paar Bekanntschaften, aber noch keine engeren Beziehungen. Ich finde Leipzig sehr schön und grün und hoffe, dass die kleinere Stadtgröße dazu beiträgt, dass ich schneller Kontakte knüpfen kann und nicht anonym und einsam untergehe...:) Außerdem hoffe ich mehr Gleichgesinnte zu finden, die ähnliche linke Werte haben und aktiv für ihre Werte einstehen. Auch die Subkultur in Leipzig reizt mich sehr. Außerdem zieht es mich nach Ostdeutschland aufgrund der DDR-Vergangenheit meiner Eltern.

Am angenehmsten fände ich eine WG mit 2-4 Personen, sehr gerne mit anderen migrantischen Personen und auch gerne FLINTA*. Als rassifizierte Person ist es mir besonders wichtig, dass ich mich in der WG wohlfühlen kann. Ein freundschaftliches Miteinander mit gemeinsamen Aktivitäten fände ich sehr schön. Generell esse ich gerne warm und koche daher täglich.

In Leipzig würde ich mir auf jeden Fall ein Tanzstudio suchen, wo ich regelmäßig tanzen kann. Generell gehe ich gerne auf Kulturveranstaltungen und bin ein sehr kreativer Mensch. Ich schreibe gerne Gedichte, lese gerne und fotografiere ab und an. In Leipzig würde ich außerdem weiter an meinem Abschlussfilm arbeiten. Nachdem ich vor Kurzem aus Plum Village zurückgekehrt bin, versuche ich mich außerdem in Achtsamkeit zu üben, sowohl mir als auch anderen Menschen gegenüber.

My name is Lê (she/her) and I am a Vietnamese-German film student, originally from the Lüneburger Heide in Lower Saxony.

After studying Cultural Studies in Hildesheim, I moved to Munich six years ago to study Documentary Film and Television Journalism at the Film Academy. Although I made very good friends here, I never really warmed to Munich and often feel alien and not particularly connected to the people and the city. Since I don't have to take any more seminars and only have to prepare my graduation film and am constantly thinking about moving away anyway, I thought now was the right time to move to a new city. :)

I've already been to Leipzig a few times and have made a few acquaintances so far, but no closer relationships yet. I find Leipzig very beautiful and green and hope that the smaller city size will help me to make contacts faster and not get lost anonymously and lonely...:) I also hope to find more like-minded people who have similar left-wing values and actively stand up for their values. The subculture in Leipzig is also very appealing to me. I'm also drawn to East Germany because of my parents' GDR past.

I would be most comfortable in a shared flat with 2-4 people, preferably with other migrants and also with FLINTA*. As a racialized person, it is particularly important to me that I can feel comfortable in the shared flat. I would really enjoy a friendly atmosphere with shared activities. I generally like to eat hot food and therefore cook every day.

I would definitely look for a dance studio in Leipzig where I can dance regularly. I generally enjoy going to cultural events and am a very creative person. I like writing poetry, reading and taking photos from time to time. I would also like to continue working on my graduation film in Leipzig. Having recently returned from Plum Village, I am also trying to practise mindfulness, both towards myself and other people.
