Da wir jede Menge Anfragen bekommen haben und diese gewissenhaft berücksichtigen wollen, können wir aktuell leider keine weiteren mehr entgegennehmen. Danke für Dein Verständnis!
Das Zimmer ist mit knapp 25 mª groß, mit hoher Decke und hat zwei große Fenster zur Südseite (inkl. Jalousien). Da wir in einem Wohnheim wohnen, musst du dich nicht um Internet kümmern. Das Zimmer liegt im 2. Stock gegenüber der Küche.
Es kostet aktuell 370 Euro warm (könnte sich ggf. noch geringfügig erhöhen, das kann ich nicht beeinflussen, da es über ein privates Studierendenwohnheim vermietet wird), inkl. Nebenkosten und Internet. Du könntest ggf. ein paar Dinge für einen kleinen Betrag übernehmen (Schränke, passende Jalousien).

The room is almost 25 mª large, with a high ceiling and has two large windows on the south side (including blinds). Since we live in a dormitory, you do not have to worry about internet. The room is on the 2nd floor opposite the kitchen.
It currently costs 370 Euros warm (could possibly increase slightly, I cannot influence that), incl. utilities and internet. You might be able to take over a few things for a small amount (cupboards, suitable blinds).
Die WG liegt in einem großen Wohnkomplex mit weiteren WGs. Verwaltet werden die Wohnungen von Campus Wohnen http://www.campuswohnen-ev.de)
Die Uni ist nur 500-800m entfernt, d.h. zu Fuß in unter 10 Minuten entfernt. Vor dem Studentenwohnheim fahren regelmäßig (alle 10 bis 20 Minuten) Busse in Richtung Uni und Innenstadt. Der Bahnhof ist etwa 2,5 km entfernt, die Innenstadt 2 km. Man braucht ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad zur Innenstadt und Bahnhof.
In der Uni ist auch ein Carsharing-Parkplatz zu finden, der von „Cambio Carsharing“ betrieben wird.
In der Nähe der Uni gibt es einen Penny. Auch in Laufweite befinden sich ein Lidl und Edeka.
Nur einen Steinwurf liegt außerdem die Ilmenau mit Wäldern und Wiesen, welche sich perfekt für laue Sommerabende, eine kleine Kanutour, zum Joggen oder einfach nur Spazieren eignen. Auch der Kurpark auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite lädt im Sommerhalbjahr zum Picknicken, Grillen und Chillen ein.
Im Wohnheim gibt es zudem ein Waschraum, in dem gegen Entgelt gewaschen und getrocknet werden kann.

The shared flat is located in a quite big residential home with many other shared student apartments which are all managed by Campus Wohnen (http://www.campuswohnen-ev.de).
The university is only 500m away (5min to walk). Nearby the student residence there are regular buses connections (every 10 to 20 minutes) in the direction of the university and the city centre. The train station is about 2.5 km away, and the beatiful oldtown about 2 km. It takes about 10 minutes by bicycle to get to the city centre and the train station.
There is also carsharing available in the university which is operated by "Cambio Carsharing".
If you want to go grovery shopping, "Penny" near the university is the place to go as well as "Lidl" and "Edeka" are also within walking distance.
The river "Ilmenau" is only a stone's throw away with woods and meadows, which are perfect for mild summer evenings, a small canoe trip, jogging or just walking. The spa park on the opposite side of the street also invites you to picnic, barbecue and chill out during the summer months.
There is also a laundry room in the dormitory where you can wash and dry for a little fee.
In der WG haben wir eine große Wohnküche. Außerdem haben wir zwei Bäder, sodass es morgens nicht zum Stress kommt. Fahrräder kann man vor der Tür anketten oder in den Keller bringen.
Da in Kürze wieder ein wenig Wandel in die WG-Konstellation einkehren wird, sind noch nicht alle zukünftigen MitbewohnerInnen schon bekannt. Nach aktuellem Stand wirst du mit Kiki (Umweltwissenschaften, 4. Sem.), Johanna (Umweltwissenschaften, 2. Sem.), Neele (Umweltwissenschaften, 2. Semester) und Darya (Umweltwissenschaften, 6. Sem.) zusammenwohnen, die alle easy going und liebenswert sind!

In the shared flat we have a large kitchen-living room. We also have two bathrooms, so there is no stress in the morning. Bicycles can be chained in front of the door or taken to the cellar.
As the constellation of the flat share will soon change again, not all future flatmates are known yet. According to the current status, you will live together with Kiki (Environmental Sciences, 4th semester), Johanna (Environmental Sciences, 2nd semester) and Neele (Environmental Sciences, 2nd semester), who are all easy going and loveable!
Bitte beachte: Das Zimmer wird über ein Studierendenwohnheim (https://www.campuswohnen-ev.de/) vermietet wir als WG dürfen jedoch entscheiden, wer einzieht. D.h. du würdest dich dann offiziell bei der Verwaltung bewerben und wir sprechen eine Empfehlung für dich aus, die in der Regel auch eingehalten wird.
Das Zimmer könnte u.U. auch schon vor dem 1. September bezogen werden.

The room could possibly be occupied before 1 September.
