The room is a 5 people WG with 5 rooms, 2 shared bathrooms and a common kitchen. The room is fully furnished (bed, desk, closet, mirror, shelf, mattress) . It is a room of a newly renovated building in 2019 that only students live. Thus very comfortable and safe :)
Our WG is in the first floor where there is enough sunshine. Therefore, it is not too cold in winter, also not too hot in summer. The whole building is full of students that help and respect each other, while sharing young dynamics that I love a lot. Hopefully you will also enjoy :)
The apartment is just 3 minutes walk to the city center, 12 minutes to the train station. The nearest bus stop is within 3 minutes walk.
Our neighborhood is quiet, with a small park near by. Kalkberg, the highest hill in the region to overlook Lüneburg is also only 5 minutes away. It is a great location for people who enjoy nature and require convenience at the same time. There is an EDEKA supermarket in 5 minutes walk. Leuphana University is 10-15 minutes away by bike.
Our WG consists of me and 4 german students studying sustainability science bachelor in Leuphana. I am the only international student in the WG. My flatmates all come from different areas of Germany. They are very nice, dynamic people who gave me a wonderful time staying in Germany.
Pity that I am finishing my master study soon and will write my thesis elsewhere. Thus, I am looking for a person (of whichever nationality) to take over my room until end of August when my contract ends. There is high possibility to take over my room starting September.
In our WG, we respect each other and follow some cleaning rules that keep our WG clean and comfortable. I look forward to someone who is nice, warm, clean and would enjoy sharing time with my flatmates. As my flatmates are all females, I would prefer to find a female to take over my room. However, if you can proof yourself to be a fun nice clean person, all genders are welcomed.
The rent consists of your own fridge and also all the shared utilities in kitchen. Water and electricity is all included as well. The only extra cost is from GEZ, which everyone in Germany has to pay. The final rent and deposit can be discuss. Please feel free to contact me via phone.
