The room is 13.44 m^2 (144,67 ft^2). The bed is 90cmx200cm which is roughly the size of a twin size mattress. There are drawers under the bed for storage. A desk and shelf are also included. The window is east-facing and isn't blocked by any buildings so sunlight gets in at all times. It also faces towards the courtyard so there is very little noise.
The bathroom has a bathtub and a shower, as well a laundry machine. Unfortunately there is no space for a dryer. If there's good weather, wet laundry can be hung out on the balcony, otherwise just inside works too.
The kitchen has an electric stove and oven, a dishwasher, a toaster and a water cooker. No microwave.
The wifi speed is 300 Mbit/s download and 100 Mbit/s upload
Playing instruments is allowed within 12pm-1pm and 3pm-8pm
Pretty much all needs are within walking distance. There are a couple different supermarkets all within <5min. It takes about 25min by subway to get to the LMU. Nearest S-Bahn station is Leuchtenbergring (S6) which is ~10 min away. The nearest subway station is Prinzregentenplatz (U4) which is ~5 min away. There is also a large hardware/home improvement store (toom) nearby as well as a Mediamarkt. A DHL branch is also within walking distance of the apartment. The Prinzregententheater is also right next to the subway station.
I'm fluent in both german and english, but I'm a lot more comfortable speaking english, which is why I would prefer others who also speak english as their first language or are at least very close to fluent.
I would also prefer someone who is open to hanging out in the evenings every now and then and to maybe cook something together. Mainly just someone who doesn't spend all of their time inside the room.
I am 19 y/o. Currently I am starting my third semester at the LMU and I'm majoring in physics. I am looking for other students but not necessarily from the LMU.
If I'm home I play around an hour of piano per day and am very open to making music with others. I play pretty much only classical but I am sort of teaching myself a bit of jazz.
The bathroom and kitchen are to be kept clean and in order.
Concerning the furniture in the room:
You would have to buy it off of my previous roommate in typical german fashion. It costs about 700 euros, and if you want to swap it out, you can sell it on ebay.
I'm also only looking for people staying at least a year, extensions can be arranged.
If you can help it don't send me a copy-pasted paragraph. Tell me a bit about yourself and what you're doing in Munich + any questions you have about me and the room.
