The apartment consists of 3 bedrooms (one in offer!), 2 toilets, 1 kitchen (that also functions as meeting point/living room), 1 balcony (in the kitchen), 1 corridor connecting all rooms and 1 keller (for storage purposes). There is a small elevator in the building and a backyard where one can safely park bikes.
The location is great: just a couple of minutes walk to the Goetheplatz U6/U3 metro stop, with direct bus connection to Hauptbahnhof-Silberhornstrasse-Others, less than 15 minutes walk to the Isar where one can swim in the summer, etc. The neighborhood has plenty of supermarket options, DM and all daily-convenience stores within walking distance. There are also nice restaurant options in the vicinity. It is also a 10 minute walk away from Theresienwiesse, where the Oktoberfest will be taking place (extra lucky catch!) Unfortunately, there is a long-term construction going on nearby. Personally, I have not been bothered by it, but it does make noise at times in the kitchen area (not really in the bedrooms with closed windows). I guess better come in person and make your own mind about it!
The apartment is to be shared between Chris (Californian project manager working with satellites who enjoys playing guitar), Filippo (Italian consultant who enjoys occasionally cooking extra delicious foods!) and yourself. I (Veronica, Spanish physicist who likes to travel) am leaving the country for another job and looking for someone to take over my September rent. Extension of the rental is certainly possible for October, but would need to be discussed with Chris and Filippo for a longer term.
To my mind, the apartment works very nicely: everyone gets their private space and also good company. Occasional dinners, musical evenings, board-games, get-outs to swim at the Isar... Chris and Filippo go on loooong bike rides together. Relaxed and friendly, with a good orderliness and cleanliness. The common language is English (and then each of us speaks one or more languages of our own!)
You are welcome to reach out with further questions. And it will be nice if you can introduce briefly yourself (I want to find a nice match for my flatmates!) After that, we can make an appointment for a visit (in-person preferred, but online possible if you are out) and delve into all details you may like to know. For instance, if you are interested in furniture or not.
