Hello there! We are looking for a new flatmate for our four person shared flat starting on March 15. We offer a spacious furnished room with a south facing balcony and a spacious built-in wardrobe. The room is rented furnished with a bed, couch, desk and office chair.
As the title says, the apartment is old and hasn't been renovated in a really really long time. So please make sure that you are okay with that. The rent includes all utility costs (heating, electricity, internet, GEZ and such) and has already been adjusted to reflect the increased energy prices.
The flat is quite big and you will find enough storage space for your things. It has a fully furnished kitchen with a dinning table and a shared balcony, a laundry room with two drying racks, a bathroom with a bathtub and a shower, and a separate toilet. The hallway connecting those rooms has an extra door which, when closed, isolates kitchen noises from the bedrooms.
The flat is located between Josephsplatz (2 min on foot) and Hohenzollernplatz (5 min on foot) U2 U-bahn stations. Shops such as Lidl, Rewe, Netto and bakeries are all within a 5 min walk away. Luitpoldpark, Olympiapark and Englischer Garten can all be reach in less than 10 min by bike.
Your flatmates will be Alex, Romana and Neeve. Alex is a software engineer working in the automotive industry. He is currently doing home office a few days a week and would be happy to join you on coffee breaks throughout the day. Neeve is doing her masters in business informatics at the Hochschule München and works part time for a media company. She is up to do stuff during the weekends as well, either going for drinks or for a small beer pong match in the kitchen. Romana just moved from South of Italy to Munich and she will start working in the hospitality industry. She is open to spend some time with her flatmates as well, and to share her food experimentations or chat with a glass of wine.
This is not a party WG but that doesn't mean that we cannot have friends over. We would be glad to join you and your friends for some drinks! On the other hand, no one should feel obligated to do things together. Balance is the key 😊
On another more boring note, we do value cleanliness and tidiness and would like that you value it too. At the moment we follow a rotating weekly cleaning plan and it is a must that you are able to follow it as well. Moreover, since we are all working full-time and we live in a building with mostly families, we must be considerate of others and avoid loud noises late in the night.
