The room unfortunately comes unfurnished, but everything else you might need is available in the house. The room is brightly lit, as the window allows a lot of daylight. It is quite a big room, but of course you are allowed to use the entire apartment too, which comes with a big kitchen and a spacious living/dining area.
I furnished the whole apartment starting January and the living room is still under progress. Now that I have just submitted my thesis, I finally have some time to think about decorating/furnishing again.
Location is quite great. It is right in the middle of Hadern and Laim. 6 minutes walk from U6 (Holzapfelkreuth). The next bus stop is 2-3 minutes away and can take you to U5 (Laimer Platz) in less than 10 minutes. Lidl is just across the street and has a DHL packstation. There are two gas stations right downstairs open 24/7. Westpark is only 7 minutes away. There is a pizza place, Asian restaurant, nail salon and a bar also downstairs for emergencies. If you have a car, there is also a designated parking spot for our apartment in the private parking lot.
You will be sharing the space with me, Dola. I am a 29 year old Bangladeshi girl, finishing up my Masters degree in Biology at the LMU soon. I took over the apartment this year January. The apartment is big enough and would be a waste to just live by myself and also it would be quite expensive for me to rent alone.
I am a creative person, and always open to do or try new things. I go to the gym, or rarely swimming. I sing in a choir and like doing art when I do get some time. I enjoy human interactions and conversations. I really invest in learning about people and their stories, so connecting with my roommate is very important to me, something I don't find currently and couldn't imagine living in what feels more like an Airbnb. Not asking for a bestie, but would be nice to get to know each other more personally and share meals when possible, cook together, and go out together from time to time. I want my future roommate to feel like a friend and family and the WG should feel like a home for the both of us.
I am a very clean and organized person, so I would like the apartment to be that way. It is understandable that there are long exhausting days when you cannot tidy up, but it shouldn't mean that thigs are left untidy for days and you expect me to clean up after you. Cleanliness and open conversations are what I value the most in a WG life. It is also fair to expect that we both share all responsibilities of the apartment equally, including cleaning, shopping, etc. You are welcome to share groceries with me as well, if we are eating together more often. With my previous roommate this worked out very well and created a very satisfactory and healthy WG life.
For more information, I suppose it's best to send me your specific questions directly or have a phone chat. :)
In your message please share what is important for you in a WG life and what a normal week looks like for you. Also please inform when you would definitely move in,
*** The room to be rented comes unfurnished. ***
P.S. only for long term rent.
