The apartment is on the second and last floor of a small building, which only has 4 apartments in total. I started renting the apartment from April, and it was almost empty! The landlady only owns the kitchen & the stove & oven, and I had to buy everything else. And it's still a work in progress! As you can see from the pictures, we have a big living room, a bathroom, a toilet, and the kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped, it includes a microwave, air-fryer, fridge, Thermomix, & stove & oven. And I'm planning to buy a dishwasher, because I hate wasting time on washing the dishes 😅 And the living room is at a good start, but still need some work. At least we already have a sofa & a TV ;) Your room will be the empty room in the pictures, it's a nice cozy room with 2 windows. Additionally, we have a washing machine & a storage area in the basement, and another storage in the attic.
The apartment is on Wankstraße, Sendling-Westpark. There are 2 bus stops 3 minutes away by walking on a road cross, so 4 different bus lines are accessible there. Additionally, the U-Bahn station Holzapfelkreuth is 10 minutes away by walking. From there you can take the U6 to Marienplatz in 12 minutes. For the supermarkets there's an Edeka 4 minutes away by walking, and a Penny next to the U-Bahn station.
Hi, I'm your future flatmate & ultimately friend! I'm 28 years old, and I've been living in Germany for more than five years now. I did my masters in Dortmund, and I moved to Munich in the beginning of April because I got a job here. I like to think of myself as a social person, and that's why I always prefer living in a WG over living alone. That's also why I'm not searching for someone who only wants to split the rent, I'm looking for someone who actually wants to have a flatmate & a friend. Unfortunately, my German is very bad, that's why our main speaking language will be English, but if we can practice German together that would be great! As I work, I'm usually out of the house until 18:00 during the week, but I'd love to chill the evening while sharing a Feierabendbier & talking or watching some TV. On the weekends, I like to hangout with my friends, so expect to be invited to join us or that some would be invited to our place.
The monthly rent includes ALL costs: rent, heating, electricity and high-speed internet!
