Hello! I have moved away because of my new job, and so I’m offering my room in this great WG. I’m writing in English but 3 of your future roommates are Germans, and so language-wise it can be flexible.
———————————————————————————————
The apartment is located on the ground floor of the building, and there are 6 rooms together with a living room, a kitchen and 2 bathrooms (equipped with pretty much everything that you would need). There is also a small garden towards the Innenhof.
The room itself is 15 sqm. It is facing the north but got enough sunlight. It is close to the busy Grünwalder Str. but the noise from the traffic is also fine.
The room was initially furnished with a bed, a cupboard and two closets. Later I got another closet and an office chair which you could have for free. I bought the big white office desk (2m long) from Ikea and you could also get it for a cheaper hand-over price.
The WG apartment is located in Giesing. It is 5 minutes walking distance away from the Wettersteinplatz Ubahn/tram station. There are grocery stores within 10 minutes walk away (Rewe, Edeka, Norma). If you are a swimmer like me, the SWM bad Giesing-Harlaching is also just 5 minutes walk away.
The Isar (Flaucher) is also quite close and nice for a walk. In Giesing there are also quite some bars and restaurants that you could discover. All in all, even though it is not directly in the city center, the location is great with everything for essential need close by, and you can also get to other places in the city pretty fast with U1/tram 25.
We are a WG of 6, mixed with students and the employed. It is a typical no-purpose WG, where people are busy in the day and do something together in the evening. On a regular work day, if you want to cook/have dinner together with people, there should always be someone around :-). On the weekends, we would also quite frequently plan something to do together, like going out, sports, etc., and usually flexible as well. Because we still have contact with people who used to live in the WG or from the WG above us, there is a quite big network and so there is always something being planned. Of course if you have your own plan or just want to chill in your room, nothing is required and just do whatever you’d prefer.
Here is little bit about everyone:
Felix (23) he's working in an architecture office and looking to start his masters in the winter. He likes reading, playing basketball, watching random YouTube videos and showing to the others, and going to concerts
Denis (35) he is a professional software engineer who has a masters already. He is vegetarian and likes to cook and share his food if you ask nicely. When the weather is nice he would love to be outside skating
Edoardo (26) he is a newly graduated data scientist, from the sunny south of Italy. Other than cooking for his own workday lunches, he would love to sit down and chat about everything
Stella (25) she is currently a nursing student. She used to be a “nerd” but claims that she is not anymore. When she is free from studying and working, she would love to spend time in the dining room and join whatever activity that is going on
Aadharsh (28) he is also working in the software industry. He works a lot in the day and comes home late, but his high energy always carries on even at 10pm, and would love to ask how your day has been
One thing I need to mention is that, there has been a some damage on the paint in the corner near the heater. It was caused by the water leaking from the heater and because I had too many stuff packed there, I didn’t see it until later. But nothing too big and as I moved out on a short notice, the landlord would for sure take care of it.
A few more miscellaneous stuff. The moving in date can be flexible, and we would prefer someone who wants to stay long term. The warm rent of 670€ includes everything (including the kalt rent, all utilities, wifi and the radio fee). And if you have more questions, feel free to ask :)
If everything still looks fine for you, please write a bit about yourself, what do you think makes a great WG experience, and your ideal cleaning habits (which is very important to us).
