We have a room available in our shared apartment from November as one of our room mates has returned home. The room can be occupied as soon as next week (06/11). The current rent is €513 with an additional around €30 for electricity, heating and internet.
The room has 14m², a large window and a door to another shared room, which was locked. A large brown wardrobe remains in the room. The floor is a wooden floor with a herringbone look.
The apartment has a total area of 130m². It offers a spacious living room with a large couch, dining table and projector, a kitchen with a bar, dishwasher and enough storage space. In general, there are enough drawers and shelves throughout the apartment to accommodate a lot of things. In the bathroom there is a bathtub and washing machine. The apartment has a small anteroom that is used for jackets and shoes. The apartment is on the first floor, accessible by stairs or elevator. The mailbox is right at the entrance in the stairwell. In the basement there is a large bicycle storage room, a cellar compartment and also access to the underground car park.
The apartment is a bit on the older side, you can especially notice this in the kitchen. But that gives it a certain charm and we work together to keep it clean.
The shared apartment is located on Glanbogen at the beginning of General-Keyes-Straße. The residential street is very quiet, with large green areas, lots of parking spaces (short parking zone & parking lot for residents), there is also the possibility of an underground car park. There is a very good café (neighborhood café) on the street and it is not far to the garbage cans for household waste, organic waste, cardboard and glass. By bike you can reach the Salzach in less than 5 minutes and the old town in 15 minutes.
It takes 2 minutes to walk to the Interspar Lehen, DM drugstore, post office, city library, gas station and hairdresser.
The nearest bus stops are: Christian-Doppler-Klinik (lines 4, 24, 34) and Peilsteinerstraße (lines 1, 7), both within 3 minutes on foot.
By car (in good traffic) it is only 5 minutes to the Salzburg Mitte motorway.
Isabel from England, Loic from France and Marius from Luxembourg are staying in the apartment. We generally always speak English in the shared apartment. We are not a purpose shared apartment but we also have movie nights together, cook together every now and then, and go into town or go hiking together. Friends are also welcome in the shared apartment at any time. However, if you want to have peace and quiet, then that's not a problem as we are all working professionals and like to be respectful during the week. Everyone respects each other’s space and privacy. We like to keep the apartment clean and tidy.
