The room is located in a spacious flat (122 sqm) with 4 bedrooms that consists of two merged apartments in a charming Altbau building. The room is about 21 sqm with two big windows that are oriented towards the courtyard. The beautiful turquoise chimney and the traditional wooden floor are adding some extra flair to the charme of the room.
The total rent is 536 € per month including internet, gas, and electricity (new gas and electricity prices already included). I would like to leave the bed, desk and cupboard in the room, however this is still up for discussion. The deposit is 1238 €.
The flat contains, a big bathroom including a bath tub and a shower, a washing maschine, two separate toilets and a dishwasher in the fully equipped kitchen.
Located in a quiet neighborhood our building is 1 minute away from Arenbergpark and 20 mins away walking distance from Prater. All major shops and facilities are around: supermarkets, galleria-shopping center; many doctor's offices and small local shops. Not to mention, Rochusmarkt, full of outdoors cafés, fresh farmers' produce and shops. The flat is located nearby (4 mins walk) Rochusgasse U3 metro station, tram lines (71, 1, O), S-Bahn and Buses (74a, 4a). It takes 30 minutes to get to the airport and about 15 mins to Hauptbahnhof, or 20 mins walk to get to city center.
A little bit about us:
Amina (26) works in data analytics and studies statistics at UniWien. She moved to Vienna in 2017 from France, where studied before, and originally she is from Kazakhstan. She enjoyes watching movies with friends, reading books, and likes to work on her acre where she grows her on vegetables.
Sean (25) is from Boston (US), moved to Vienna during lockdown, and is working from home in marketing. He is in love with Vienna (and also a bit with Amina); he appreciates good cocktails, electronic music and, occasionally, cuban cigars.
We are very chill and pretty busy in our day to day lives. Our flat life is, without exaggeration, in a perfect friendly harmony. From time to time we cook dinners together, have drinks, and enjoy great conversations. We take cleaning duties very seriously and respect each other’s privacy and needs.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who shares our values and lifestyle. Aged 24+, speaking fluent English, and ready to join in our flat-dynamic.
