Gemütliches WG-Zimmer in frisch sanierter 2 Z.-Wohnung/Cozy shared room in recently renovated 2 room apartment

Die Nähe zur TU Wien (wo ich selbst arbeite), sowie der wirklich nahe Anschluss zum Wiener HBF machen die Wohnung einzigartig.
Der Alois-Drescher-Park, sowie der Waldmüllerpark sind zu Fuß in nur 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Es führt eine befahrene Straße an der Wohnung vorbei, diese ist aber nur minimal bei offenem Fenster meines Zimmers zu vernehmen. Vor allem in der Nacht ist es sehr ruhig.
Noch ein kurzer Überblick zur näheren Umgebung:

Tramhaltestelle Kliebergassse bzw. Laurenzgasse: 500 Meter (Gehzeit 5 min);
Hbf: 10 min zu Fuß
TU Wien Getreidemarkt: 10 min (Fahrrad)
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten: 5 Minuten Gehzeit (Hofer, Billa)

The closeness to the TU Vienna (where I work myself), as well as the really close connection to the Vienna main station make the apartment unique.
The Alois-Drescher-Park, as well as the Waldmüllerpark can be reached in only 5 minutes by walking. A busy street passes by the apartment, but this is only minimally audible when the window of my room is open (4th floor). Especially at night it is very quiet.
A short overview of the immediate surroundings:

Train stop Kliebergassse or Laurenzgasse: 500 meters (walking time 5 min);
Central station: 10 min (by foot)
TU Wien Getreidemarkt: 10 min (bicycle)
Shopping: 5 min (walking time) (Hofer, Billa)

Ich habe Erneuerbare Energien im Bachelor und im Master Umweltsysteme und Ressourcenmanagement studiert und wohne seit Anfang April nun in der Wohnung (also auch erst seit kurzem ;) ). Ich arbeite an der TU Wien im Bereich industrielle Energiesysteme mit Schwerpunkt Wasserstoffinfrastruktur. Mein Ziel ist in diesem Bereich auch zu promovieren.
Ich würde mich als offene, zuverlässige und kommunikative Person beschreiben und wünsche mir für die WG im Allgemeinen ein angenehmes, freundschaftlich-familiäres Wohnklima. Wichtig ist mir, dass ökologische Nachhaltigkeit, wertschätzender Umgang miteinander, Offenheit und Feiern gelebt wird. Im Idealfall bist du kurz vor dem Ende deines Studiums (hast also schon eine Jobaussicht) oder steigst auch gerade in die Arbeitswelt ein.
Ich koche sehr gerne und habe in meiner 9-jährigen WG-Zeit bereits viele tolle Erfahrungen machen können. Ich habe festgestellt, dass für mich ein "WG-Leben" zu zweit am besten funktioniert. Ich genieße das gemeinsame WG-Leben, jedoch bin ich auch über Rückzugsmöglichkeiten froh. Vorallem nach einem stressigen Arbeitstag finde ich ein gemütliches und ruhiges Zuhause sehr angenehm. Mir ist wichtig, dass die Wohnung sauber bleibt & zum Beispiel Geschirr nicht tagelange rumsteht. Eine Spülmaschine ist auch vorhanden.
Es gibt wie oben bereits beschrieben, eine große Küche, die sowohl zum Kochen als auch zum Essen und gemütlichem Entspannen (mit Freunden) einlädt. Ebenso hat die Wohnung einen ziemlich großen Balkon (von meinem Zimmer aus begehbar). Dort gäbe es die Möglichkeit jede Menge Kräuter sowie Paprika und Chillies, die man zum Kochen benötigt, anzubauen. Aktuell sieht es etwas karg aus, aber das ändert sich gerade. Frische Samen sind bereits gekauft. Dazu gehören Brokkoli, Oregano, Thai-Basilikum uvm. Meistens sollte nichts dagegen sprechen auf den Balkon zu gehen, wenn ich aber gerade am Paper schreiben bin oder im Homeoffice, versteht es sich von selbst, dass keine große Party am Balkon stattfinden sollte :)
Außerdem gibt es eine Abstellkammer und ein Kellerabteil. D.h. Stauraum ist genug vorhanden.
Ich höre gerne und viel Musik und gehe ab und zu am Wochenende feiern. Ich selbst spiele Gitarre und Klavier. Ebenso treibe ich viel Sport (Yoga, Joggen und Schwimmen). Auch Wandern und längere Spaziergänge finde ich zum Abschalten super angenehm. Generell finde ich, dass alles in Gemeinschaft noch mehr Spaß macht :)
Reisen ist ebenfalls eine große Leidenschaft von mir. Egal ob Europa, Indien oder Uruguay, ich habe bereits jetzt wieder fernweh ;)
Eine weitere Leidenschaft ist nachhaltiges Bauen und Wohnen. Hier finde ich sind der Kreativität keine Grenzen gesetzt.
Ansonsten lese ich viel und erfreue mich an neuem nützlichem Wissen.

I studied Renewable Energy in the Bachelor and in the Master Environmental Systems and Resource Management and live in the apartment now since the beginning of April (so also only for a short time ;) ). I am working at TU Wien in the field of industrial energy systems with focus on hydrogen infrastructure. My goal is to write my PhD-thesis in this field as well.
I would describe myself as an open, reliable and communicative person and would like the flat-sharing atmosphere in general to be pleasant, friendly and family-like. It is important to me that ecological sustainability, appreciative interaction, openness and celebration are lived. Ideally, you are "just" about to finish your studies or are also just entering the working world. Or ypu already work :)
I love to cook and have already had many great experiences during my 7 years in shared flats. I have found that for me, "WG life" works best with two people. I enjoy the sharedflat life, but I am also happy about privacy. Especially after a stressful day at work, I find a cozy and quiet home very pleasant. It is important to me that the apartment remains clean & for example dishes do not stand around for days. A dishwasher is also available.
There is as already described above, a large kitchen, which invites both to cook and to eat and relax comfortably also with friends) Likewise, the apartment has a fairly large balcony (accessible from my room). There would be the possibility to grow lots of herbs as well as peppers and chillies needed for cooking. Currently it looks a bit sparse, but that is currently changing. Fresh seeds have already been purchased. These include broccoli, oregano, Thai basil and many more. Most of the time there should be nothing against going out on the balcony, but when I'm writing papers or I am working from home, there should be no big party on the balcony :)
There is also a storage room and a basement compartment. I.e. storage space is enough available.
I like to listen to a lot of music and go partying from time to time on weekends. I myself play guitar and piano. I also do a lot of sports (yoga, jogging and swimming). I also find hiking and longer walks super enjoyable to switch off. In general, I find that everything is even more fun in community so if you like sport, join the tribe :)
Traveling is also a great passion of mine. Whether it's Europe, India or Uruguay, I already have wanderlust again ;)
Another passion is sustainable building and living. Here I find there are no limits to creativity.
Otherwise, I read a lot and enjoy new useful knowledge.

Abschließend möchte ich nochmal sagen, dass das Einrichten der Wohnung noch nicht fertig ist und ich mich über neue Ideen sehr freuen würde. Ich denke, gerade wenn man zu zweit wohnt, sollten sich beide wohl fühlen, damit es auch für beide ein Zuhause ist.

Finally, I would like to say again that the furnishing of the apartment is not yet finished and I would be very happy about new ideas. I think, especially when you live in pairs, both should feel comfortable, so that it is also a home for both.
