Hello! From May we'll have a free room in our super-central WG. The room is 15sqm, it is pretty nice,:)
Unfortunately we don´t have any more common space other than the kitchen, but we all have a room of about 20sqm, so usually we hang out in each others rooms. We don't have a washing machine in the apartment, but there's one in the basement and also a dryer. In the kitchen there's everything you'll need (or more) because everyone who has moved out has luckily left something there for the next generation. WC and bath are also separated.
The seventh district is great for young people! Here you'll find pretty much everything you need. Nice cafés, cool bars and good restaurants! Also all the main supermarkets (Hofer, Spar, Billa and Lidl) are all within five minutes walking. Plus Berliner Döner, the best döner place in Vienna (in my opinion) is literally 10 seconds by foot! :)
When it comes to public transport
Tram 49 is 1-2 min away and it takes pretty much anywhere. Also bus nr 13a which i‘ve been takingto class everyday is only two blocks away. Within 5-10 minutes by foot you can also get two of the main U-Bahn stations (Zieglergasse, Neubaugasse). Additionally, you can get to Westbahnhof in 10-15 min by foot. So in general you can get anywhere quite easily and also pretty much all night, especially on the weekends.
You would be living with Carla, Sascha and Tim. All very uncomplicated and nice people!
Carla is 22 and is from Barcelona, she's studying philosophy and political science at the University of Vienna, prior to this she did a BA in art history, so anything humanistic Carla loves :) With Carla you will for sure be invited to listen to her vinyl collection and have a beer.
Sascha is 21 and is from Ukraine. Sascha has been studying in Vienna and will continue studying art history this autumn. If you're nice he might even cook you an amazing meal!
Tim is 21 and German, but grew up in Spain. He's currently doing a music production apprenticeship. Just like Sascha and Carla he's interested in art, concerts and loves to have interesting conversations over a coffee, beer, etc.
If you like what you’ve seen and read you can easily send a message here through Wg-Gesucht, we're looking forward to hearing from you! Unfortunately we are quite busy so an interview will probably have to be in the evening or on the weekend. German or English works fine, we also speak Catalan and Ukrainian which were not options in the language section. We look forward to hearing from you!
