The room is part of a beautiful Altbau flat. The room, though small, is nice and bright and gets plenty of morning sun; it has a large window and nice new parquet. The window opens to the courtyard; therefore, it is very quiet and no street noise! It has a high bed, so there is actually plenty of room and a cosy sleeping couch corner underneath it.
The apartment itself has another, bigger bed room, a cozy kitchen with everything your heart might desire, a shared bathroom with a washing machine and a separate toilet.
In general, the apartment and the whole building have a very nice Altbau-flair.
I will make you enough space everywhere for all of your stuff of course!
And as you can see, I have a few plants that would love their occasional drink from time to time.
The apartment is in the 16th district quite close to the center, so it's super well connected but it's not too loud around here!
There are supermarkets and a pharmarcy just around the corner, as well as snack bars and restaurants within walking distance.
The bus 48A and tram 9 are right outside the door. You will need about 8 minutes to get to the U6 Burggasse-Stadthalle. By bike, you can get almost everywhere in no more than 20 minutes. The beautiful Kriemhildplatz is also super close (5 min) and you will find cute cafés there.
For students: The University of Vienna and the Boku are also very close and easy to reach.
This is an artists' WG: Maike, 27 is a dramaturg at the theatre and I am a theatre director. I will be traveling in South Afrika with my sister, that's why I sublet my room. So you will be living with Maike. In her free time, she likes to go to the theatre of course, she loves swimming, ice skating in winter and skating in summer and spends a lot of time on the Donauinsel for all these activities. She also has a lot of books that you can borrow!
As we just moved in, we don't know the exact costs for gas and electricity yet. So this is an estimate! It might be a bit more (or less ;) So I would ask you to pay the rent in adcance and the others costs as soon as I get the information of the companies.
