Liebe Zwischenmietende,
das Zimmer ist grundsätzlich von 01.08 bis 30.09. frei, aber ihr müsst nicht die vollen 2 Monate hier wohnen. Die Miete liegt bei 415€ pro Monat (inklusive Strom, Gas und Internet) bzw. 95€ pro Woche.
Das Zimmer ist sehr groß (23m2) und hell, hat zwei große Fenster und wunderschönes Fischgrätenparkett. Außerdem bekommst Du noch ein eigenes Bad (7m2) dazu! Die Altbauwohnung selbst hat insgesamt ca. 152m2, 5 getrennt begehbare Zimmer, eine gemütliche große Küche mit Eckbank und allem was das Herz begehrt (inklusive Geschirrspühler). Neben deinem Bad gibt es noch ein Gemeinschaftsbad mit Waschmaschine und extra Klo. Überhaupt hat die Wohnung und das ganze Haus ganz viel Altbauflair und auch einen süßen kleinen Hof.

Dear room seekers,
The room is free from August 1 until September 30, but you do not need take the room for the whole 2 months necessarily. The rent is 415€ (including electricity, gas & internet) or 95€ per week. The room is quite big (23m2) and bright, it has two large windows and nice herringbone parquet. You will also have your own bathroom (7m2)! The apartment itself has approx. 150m2, 5 room that are separately accessible, a cozy kitchen with a corner seat and everything your heart might desire (including a dishwasher). In addition to your own bathroom there is a shared bathroom with a washing machine and an extra toilet. In general, the apartment and the whole building have a very nice Altbau-flair and a cozy courtyard where you could have a beer or read a book.

Die Wohnung liegt im 17. Bezirk recht nah zum Gürtel, also super angebunden und trotzdem nicht zu laut!
Direkt um die Ecke gibt es einen Interspar, einen Hofer und eine Apotheke. Außerdem gibt es hier zahlreiche Imbisse und Restaurants in Fußnähe. Zur U6 Station Alserstraße und zur 43er Tram läufst Du ca. 4 Minuten und mit dem Rad bist du fast überall in max. 30 Minuten. Außerdem bist du in 5 Minuten am Yppenplatz, wo es viele nette Cafés gibt, und am Brunnenmarkt, wo du jeden Tag frischen Obst und Gemüse bekommst :)
Für Studierende: Die Hauptuni und die Boku sind auch super easy zu erreichen.

The apartment is in the 17th district quite close to the Gürtel, so it's super well connected but it's not too loud around here!
There is an Interspar, a Hofer and a pharmacy just around the corner. There are also numerous snack bars and restaurants within walking distance. You will need about 4 minutes to get to the U6 Alserstraße and to the 43 tram. By bike you can get almost everywhere in no more than 30 minutes. The beautiful Yppenplatz is also super close (5 min) and you will find a lot of cute cafés there. At the Brunnenmarkt (which is at the Yppenplatz) you can get fresh fruits and vegetables every day :)
For students: The University of Vienna and the Boku are also very close and easy to reach.
Wir sind eine 5er WG, darunter Studis und Berufstätige, alle zwischen 24 und 30. Ich (Sama) werde wie gesagt Ende des Monats ausziehen. Du wirst also zusammenwohnen mit: Philipp, 29, studiert im Master Socioecological Economics and Policy, geht viel klettern, organisiert Open-Airs und ist politisch aktiv. Sasha, 24, studiert zusammen mit Philipp denselben Master und ziehst jetzt in zwei Wochen neu in unsere WG dazu. Kamal, 28, ist leidenschaftlicher Friseur, mag Radfahren und Boxen gerne, und vergisst sich gerne mal in einem Buch. Last but not least ist da noch Nadja, die Anfang Mai in die WG gezogen ist. Sie ist ebenfalls 28, arbeitet im Österreichischen Filmmuseum im Bereich Filmrestauration und liebt Flohmärkte :) Wir verstehn uns alle sehr gut und verbringen gerne Zeit miteinander. Wir teilen gerne persönliches und sprechen über Dinge, die uns und diese Welt bewegen. Außerhalb der Wohnung sehen wir uns auch (gelegentlich gemeinsam feiern, Konzerte etc.) und sonst zum gemütlichen Kochen in unserer gemütlichen Küche oder Filme schauen, meist in Nadjas Erkerzimmer mit der großen Couch. Insgesamt ist es eine schöne Mischung aus gegenseitigem Interesse und respektvollem Umgang. Wir freuen uns also sehr wenn du eine aufgeschlossene und aktive Person bist, die gemeinschaftlich wohnen möchte! Übrigens reden wir viel Englisch in der WG, da Nadja und Sasha kein Deutsch sprechen.

We are 5 people in the flat, students as well as working people all between 24 and 30. As I mentioned already, I (Sama) will be sadly moving out at the end of the months. So you will be living with: Philipp, 29, doing his masters in Socio-ecological Economics and Policy, goes climbing a lot, organizes open airs and is very active politically. Sasha, 24, is doing the same masters together with Philipp, and he is just now moving to our flat (like in 2 weeks). Kamal, 28, is a very talented hairdresser, likes cycling and boxing, and you will often find him with a book in his hands. Last but not least there is Nadja, who moved to the flat in the beginning of May. She is also 28, works in the film restoration at the Austrian Film Museum and loves flea markets :)
We all get along very well and enjoy spending time together. We like to share personal stuff and to talk about the issues that move us and the world we live in. We also do stuff together outside the apartment sometimes (occasionally party together, go to concerts, etc.). Other than that we like to get together in our cozy kitchen to cook, or sometimes watch a movie together, mostly in Nadja's room with the huge couch. Overall, it's a very nice mix of mutual interest and respect. We would love to welcome somebody who is open-minded, active, and genuinely interested in living together! By the way, we often speak English at home, since Nadja and Sasha do not speak German.
