The room is bright and cozy, the perfect environment to be focused while studying and relax when free. As it is showed in the pictures through the skylight a lot of light enters the room, which always brought me happiness. I also bought a curtain which I never assembled, in case would be necessary. The view from the window is also really nice, especially when sunny, snowing or during the sunset.
At the beginning there was a single bed, which is still here behind the wardrobe, later I put a queen size mattress (without the bed) which I might consider to take with me (but this can be discussed). The room includes, of course, the wardrobe, the desk, the chair and a bed. Various decorations are not included.
Last but not least, the room is really really quite, not noisy at all despite the location. And this is a plus from my point of view :)
The location is also great as you can reach in 2 minutes walking the tram 43 which brings in 10 minutes to Alser Strasse (U6) and in aprox 20 minutes to Schottentor (U2). Also the University can be reached in 20 minutes, and from the flat in 8 minutes walking the tram 2 can be reached, which easily brings to Rathausplat, Volksgarten, Volkstheater, and many other places in the Innerstadt. There are also other various public transportation lines, like the bus 10A right behind the corner which brings in 20 minutes to Schoenbrunn (this is something I personally love).
For the groceries is perfect as well, as right behind the corner (literally 1 minute away) there is a Billa - you can go buy groceries in pijama ahah. But there is also a Bipa 3 minutes walking and a Hofer 7 minutes walking, many bakeries, takeaway restaurants, restaurants, cafes, tabak, etc. Everything you need is in the proximity of the flat, which is super convenient.
The flat is quiet, relaxed and uncomplicated. We care about cleaning and personal spaces. You would share the flat with 3 other nice and kind girls:
- Kamila studies cinema and theater at her bachelor, she comes from Czech Republic and loves corn and soups. We like to have some 'music and wine' nights, talking and eating.
- Romina studies informatics and she's currently taking german course to prepare. She comes from Iran and is always up for a talk in the kitchen.
- Saba studies biology and she is also from Iran. She's currently making candles with dry flowers in the free time, which are beautiful and super cute.
A nice plus are the neighbors, since it is a student building sometimes it's nice to have a chat together with a cold beer or a nice drink.
Every Tuesday comes the cleaning lady who cleans the flat and also the rooms (if requested). This is included within the rent, so there are not additional costs. Moreover, in the building there are 2 washing machines and a drier (I'm obsessed, amazing). There is also Wi-Fi included in the rent.
The flat is on the 5th floor with the elevator, and of course there is a convenient dish washer, and two fridges.
There is a one time fee of 150 euros for the contract
P.S. If it's possible it would be better to have visits/video calls on the 15th of February as on Wednesday I will leave to go back to my hometown, if later we can still video call, I will provide you with some videos of the flat and then you can visit the apartment with my roommates hoping we can match the schedules :)
P.P.S. The contract would be for at least 1 year, but you can move out before the year if you find yourself a replacement
