1-3 Monate in queer-friendly 3er-WG im 9. Bezirk

In unserer Dreier-WG im 9. Bezirk wird ab 1. Juli (oder wenn du magst etwas später) bis Ende September ein Zimmer frei. Deshalb suchen wir eine_n Zwischenmieter_in für 1-3 Monate. Zeiträume ab einem Monat sind möglich, aber wir bevorzugen Leute die länger bleiben wollen.

Die Mitbewohnerinnen und das WG-Leben: Das Zusammenleben ist für uns eine bewusste Entscheidung. Uns ist es wichtig was voneinander mitzukriegen, (mal mehr mal weniger) Alltag zu teilen und schöne Stunden gemeinsam zu verbringen. Wir sind gern gemütlich gemeinsam im Wohnzimmer, aber auch viel unterwegs und berufstätig. Judith (30) ist gern in queer-feministischen Zusammenhängen unterwegs, arbeitet im Sozialbereich und studiert berufsbegleitend. ChiaHua (41), eine ehemalige Designerin die Kunst und Geschichte mag, ist derzeit Vollzeit Ph.D-Studentin. Sie wird noch bis Mitte Juli in der WG wohnen. Danach kommt Dagmar (28) von ihrem Auslandssemester zurück. Sie ist gerade in Bildungskarenz von ihrem Job als Campaignerin in einer Umweltschutzorganisation um ihre Masterarbeit in Politikwissenschaft zu schreiben, tanzt und macht freies Radio.

Wir teilen einen Großteil unsrer Lebensmittel und haben derzeit einen gemeinsamen Putzplan. In den Gemeinschaftsräumen wird selten geraucht; hin und wieder raucht wer aus dem eigenen Zimmerfenster. In der WG kochen wir meist vegetarisch (einzelne Ausnahmen mit Fleisch wären okay). Wir sprechen Englisch, Deutsch, Mandarin (bis Juli) und ein bisschen Serbokroatisch. Super wäre wenn du schon WG-Erfahrung mitbringst.

Die Wohnung liegt im Dachgeschoss, ist sehr hell und gemütlich über einen Lift erreichbar. Barrierefrei ist sie leider nicht. Das Zentrum der Wohnung ist ein 50 m2 großer gemeinsamer Wohn-/Ess-/Koch-/-Arbeits-Bereich. Hier spielt sich ein großer Teil des WG-Lebens ab, gemeinsam und alleine. Die Wohnung ist mit Geschirrspüler, Badewanne, getrenntem WC, e-piano, Kamin, an.schläge-Abo und viel Stauraum ausgestattet. Für den Sommer gibt's einen professionellen Hitzeschutz.

Das freie Zimmer ist ca 13m2 groß, und hat ein Dachfenster mit Blick über eine ruhige
Seitenstraße (Naglergasse). Wenn du magst, können wir einige einfache Möbelstücke ins Zimmer stellen.

Lage: Die Wohnung ist im 9. Bezirk gleich neben dem alten AKH/Campus (-> viel Grün vor der Haustür), Ecke Lazarettgasse/Spitalgasse. In wenigen Minuten Gehweite gibt's diverse Supermärkte, nette Lokale und zahlreiche Bibliotheken (für Studis: die meisten Gebäude der Uni Wien sind ganz in der Nähe). Von der Wohnung sind große Teile Wiens gemütlich mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar, außerdem sind verschiedenste Öffis in Gehweite (u.a. 5, 43, 44, N43, U6).

Die Miete kostet 395€ im Monat inklusive Allem (Strom, Gas, Internet, Versicherung, etc). Die Kaution hängt davon ab wie lange du bleiben magst (max 800€).

We have a free room in our flat, which is shared by three people. The room is available from beginning of July (or a little later if you prefer) until end of September. Shorter periods are possible, as long as you stay for 1 month at least, but we will prefer people who stay longer.

The flatmates and how we live together: Living together and sharing a flat is a conscious decision for us. It’s important to us that we share (sometimes less, sometimes more) what’s going on in our daily lives, and enjoy nice hours together. We like to spend time with each other in our living room, but are also on the move quite a lot and work. Judith (30) enjoys being in queer-feminist contexts, is working in the social sector and studying part-time. ChiaHua (41), a former designer who likes arts and history, is currently a full-time PhD student and will stay in the flat until early July. Afterwards Dagmar (28) will come back from studying abroad. She is currently taking a break from her job as a campaigner for an international environmental organization to write her MA-thesis in political science, dances, and participates in a community radio program.
We share most of our food and currently have a cleaning roster. In the shared space, there’s usually no smoking; very rarely someone smokes out of the window in their own room. In the flat we cook vegetarian (a few exceptions would be okay).
We speak German, English, Mandarin Chinese (until July), and a bit of Serbo-Croatian. It would be great if you already have experience in living in shared spaces.

The apartment is located on the top floor and very bright. It can be reached comfortably with an elevator, but unfortunately is not wheelchair accessible. The center of the flat is a 50m2 big common living/dining/cooking/working area. Here we spend a large part of our wg-life, together or by ourselves. There’s a dishwasher, washing machine, bathtub, separate WC, digital piano, fireplace, an.schläge subscription, and additional storage space. For hot summer days we have professional heat protection.

The free room is 13m2, and has a roof window looking on a quiet side-street (Naglergasse). If you like, we could put some basic furniture in the room.

Location: We live in the 9th district next to „Altes AKH“/Campus (->green space very close by), close to the corner Lazarettgasse/Spitalgasse. In close walking distance there are several supermarkets, nice restaurants and bars, as well as several libraries. For students: Most of the buildings of the University of Vienna are close-by. Many parts of Vienna are easily reachable by bike, and many public transport lines are nearby (5,43,44, N43, U6, and others).

The rent is 395€/month all inclusive (electricity, gas, Internet, insurance etc.). The deposit depends on how long you want to stay (max 800€).
