Großes WG-Zimmer im 8. Bezirk

Die Lage der Wohnung könnte besser nicht sein. Sie liegt sehr nahe der U6 Haltestelle Alserstraße (5 Gehminuten). Mit den Straßenbahnen 43 und 44, die sich quasi direkt vor der Türe befinden, bist du in nur 7 Minuten beim Schottentor. Du bist also sehr schnell an der Uni und in der Innenstadt. Außerdem ist die Linie 2, 5 und 33 in circa 5 Gehminuten zu erreichen.
Die Umgebung befinden sich ein paar gemütliche Bars, Cafés und Restaurants, insbesondere entlang der Josefstädter Straße, Alser Straße oder um den Schönbornpark herum. Trotzdem ist man auch Abends keinem großen Trubel an Menschen ausgesetzt und kann entspannt durch die Gassen laufen. Und die Pizzeria direkt unten im Haus hat schon über einige kochfaule Abende hinweggeholfen.
Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe mehr als genug. Ein Billa befindet sich zum Beispiel nur 3 Gehminuten von der Wohnung entfernt, Spar 5 Minuten und auch ein Hofer ist in ca. 7 Minuten erreichbar.

The location of the flat could not be better. It is very close to the U6 Alserstraße stop (5 minutes walk). Trams 43 and 44, which are right outside the door, take you to Schottentor in just 7 minutes. This means you can get to the university and the city centre very quickly. In addition, tram lines 2, 5 and 33 are about a 5-minute walk away.

The surrounding area has quite a few cosy bars, cafés and restaurants, especially along Josefstädter Straße, Alser Straße or around Schönbornpark. Nevertheless, you are not exposed to a big hustle and bustle of people in the evening and can walk relaxed through the alleys. And the pizzeria right downstairs has already helped us get over some evenings when we were lazy about cooking.
There are also many possibilities to go grocerie shopping in the immediate vicinity. A Billa, for example, is only a 3-minute walk from the flat, Spar is 5 minutes away and a Hofer can be reached in about 7 minutes.

Da Thomas nach 1 Jahr schweren Herzens Wien verlässt, suchen wir eine neue Mitbewohner:in für unsere schöne WG im 8. Bezirk.
Wir, das sind Julian und Anna:
Julian ist 29, hat Molekularbiologie studiert und arbeitet seit Oktober in einer IT Beratungsfirma in Wien. In seiner Freizeit macht er vor allem gerne Sport (Laufen gehen, Volleyball spielen und Fitnessstudio) oder trifft sich mit Freunden, geht ab und zu auch mal feiern und liebt Spieleabende.
Anna ist 27, hat vor Wien u.a. in Chicago und Hongkong gelebt und macht nun ihren Doktor in Behavioral Economics an der WU. Sie ist viel unterwegs, geht gerne ins Kino oder Theater und ist immer dazu bereit etwas zu unternehmen oder tiefgründige Gespräche zu führen.
Unser WG-Leben ist ungezwungen und entspannt - Da wir beide arbeiten, geht unter der Woche jeder mehr oder weniger seiner Wege. Wenn wir beide zu Hause sind quatschen wir gerne miteinander und setzen uns ab und zu in eine Bar in der Nähe der Wohnung oder gehen gemeinsam essen. Unter der Woche schätzen wir unsere ruhigen Abende, empfangen aber auch immer wieder gerne Freunde zu Besuch. Am Wochenende unternehmen wir gerne ab und zu etwas gemeinsam.
Wir freuen uns über eine offene und kommunikative Person, die Spaß und Interesse an einem gemeinsamen WG Leben hat.

Since Thomas is leaving Vienna after 1 year with a heavy heart, we are looking for a new flatmate for our beautiful shared flat in the 8th district.
We are Julian and Anna:
Julian is 29, has studied molecular biology and has been working in an IT consulting company in Vienna since October. In his free time he likes to do sports (running, playing volleyball and going to the gym) or meet up with friends, go out partying from time to time and loves game nights.
Anna is 27, lived in Chicago and Hong Kong among other places before Vienna and is now doing her PhD in Behavioral Economics at WU. She is very active, often out of the apartment to work on projects or likes to go to the cinema or theatre and is always ready to do something or have deep conversations.
Our flat-sharing life is informal and relaxed - as we both work, during the week we each more or less go our own way. When we are both at home, we like to chat with each other and occasionally sit down in a bar near the flat or go out for a meal together. During the week we enjoy our quiet evenings, but we also like to have friends over from time to time. At the weekend we like to do something together from time to time.
We are looking for an open-minded and communicative person who has fun and is interested in living together in a shared flat.
