We’re looking for a fun, social, and English-speaking housemate to join our WG of four, starting April 1.
Unfortunately, one of our lovely housemates has decided it’s time to leave the nest, and find a place of his own, so we are looking for someone to take over his room. Overview:
- Cost: rent is CHF1,019 per month, plus approx. CHF80 per month for shared costs (internet, cleaning lady every 2 weeks etc.)
- Room: 23.7m2; unfurnished (possibility to take over wardrobe for CHF300 and desk for CHF60); view of the Uetliberg
- Apartment: large open-plan kitchen, dining & living room; washing machine & dryer in the apartment; 2 bathrooms; large balcony; the cellar has bike storage, a small storage unit, and car parks (at an additional cost) available
Location: 5 min bus ride or 10 min walk from Oerlikon station; bus stop right outside the house; all major supermarkets within 5-10 minute walking distance
About us:
We are Lyndal (German-Australian, work in marketing), Anastasia (Russian-German, working as a German teacher), and Sophie (British, working as a nanny). We are a fairly social WG, and sometimes cook together/ have a drink after work/ watch a movie etc., but also respect each other’s space.
About you:
You must be a clean person – how you keep your room is up to you, but you must clean up after yourself in all shared spaces. Ideally, you are also a young professional in your late 20s/ early 30s and quite easy going.
