The huge, very popular Tempelhofer Park (formerly Tempelhofer Flughafen) is within walking distance. Kreuzberg and Kreuzberg's trendy districts such as Bergmannstrasse are on one side of the historically grown residential area, on the other side, connected by a park, is Schöneberg Island with the well-known gasometer.
