The apartment is very central in Gießen. A bus stop is right in front of the front door leading to the railway station and Oswaldsgarten.
You need to walk approx.
- 5 min to the Döner triangle
- 5 min to THM campus
- 10 min to Berlin square
- 10 min to the Seltersweg
Of course, the bike is even faster, so we also have a separate bicycle cellar or around the corner a Nextbike station. Shopping facilities are easily accessible on foot due to the central location. In 5-10 minutes you can reach the Rewe and Lidl.

Ich, Tessa (25), wohne bereits seit mehreren Jahren in der WG und möchte mein Zimmer untervermieten, da ich ab März ein Auslandspraktikum machen werde.
In der WG leben
Laura (25), sie studiert Jura im 6. Semester. Sie ist neben dem Studium in einem Verein engagiert und Teil der RLC (Refugee Law Clinic). In ihrer Freizeit geht sie gerne Bouldern, trifft sich mit Freunden bspw. an der Lahn oder zum töpfern oder geht Techno feiern. Ansonsten häkelt und strickt sie sehr viel. Generell ist sie eine offene und extrovertierte Person.
Jette (21), sie studiert Anglistik und Soziologie im 3. Semester und wohnt auch noch nicht so lange in der WG. Sie zeichnet gerne, lies recht viel und ist n Nerd, was Video Games/visual Media angeht. Sie ist gerne mit Freunden in Kneipen oder sonst wo unterwegs :)
Wichtig wäre es für uns, dass es sich nicht um eine reine Zweck-WG handelt, das Zusammenleben harmonisch ist und man gut über alles reden kann. Mit den ehemaligen Mitbewohnerinnen war das immer gut möglich, wir haben gern was unternommen und gequatscht wenn Zeit war und ist für das Zusammenleben einfach ganz angenehm sich nicht total fremd zu sein :)
Wichtig wäre für uns eine offene Person als Mitbewohner*in zu haben.
Ebenso ist es wichtig ist, dass die WG sauber bleibt und der Putzplan funktionierte wirklich immer gut. Dinge wie Putzmittel, Waschmittel, Gewürze, Zewa etc. werden geteilt und bei Bedarf einfach nachgekauft.

I, Tessa (25), have been living in the shared apartment for several years now and want to sublet my room as I will be doing an internship abroad.

In the flat lives
Laura, who is 25 and studies Law in her 6th semester. Alongside her studies, she is active in an association and part of the RLC (Refugee Law Clinic). In her free time, she enjoys bouldering, meeting up with friends at the Lahn or for pottery, or going to techno parties. Otherwise, she crochets and knits a lot. In general, she is an open and extroverted person.
Jette (21) is studying English Studies and Sociology in her 3rd semester and hasn’t been living in the shared flat for very long. She enjoys drawing, reads quite a lot, and is a bit of a nerd when it comes to video games and visual media. She likes going out with friends to pubs or other places. :)

What’s important for us is that it doesn’t turn into just a “flatshare of convenience,” but that living together feels harmonious and that we can talk about everything openly.
For us, it’s important to have an open person as a flatmate.
It’s also important that the flat stays clean, and the cleaning schedule has always worked really well. Things like cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, spices, paper towels, etc. are shared and simply bought again when needed.
