Die S-Bahn Haltestelle Trimbornstraße und die U-Bahn-Station Kalk Post sind in 5 bzw. 8 Minuten zu erreichen, ausserdem gibt es mehrere Bushaltestellen. In der ganzen Gegend kann man umsonst parken. Schnell zu erreichen sind mehrere Discounter, Gemüsehändler, richtig gute marokkanische/ griechische/ türkische/ syrische/ italienische Restaurants, Imbisse und Cafes und der Humboldtpark. Die Wohnung hat einen schönen Blick über die Dächer. Die Straße ist eine sehr schöne und angenehm belebte und begrünte Straße. Ein Park mit Tischtennis-Platten ist zwei Minuten entfernt. Mit dem Rad ist man in 15 Minuten am Heumarkt. Mit der Bahn in 19 und in 15 Minuten am Hauptbahnhof.

The S-Bahn station Trimbornstraße and the underground station Kalk Post can be reached in 5 and 8 minutes respectively, and there are also several bus stops. Free parking is available throughout the neighbourhood. Several discounters, greengrocers, really good Moroccan/Greek/Turkish/Syrian/Italian restaurants, snack bars and cafés and the Humboldtpark are all within easy reach. The flat has a beautiful view over the rooftops. It is a very lovely street—pleasant, lively, and lined with greenery. A park with table tennis tables is just two minutes away. You can reach Heumarkt in 15 minutes by bike, and in 19 minutes by train (or 15 minutes to the central station).

Ich, Frieda, werde für einen kürzeren Weg zu meiner neuen Arbeit in eine Untermiete in Ehrenfeld ziehen und daher mein Zimmer untervermieten. Es besteht vielleicht die eventuelle Möglichkeit, das Zimmer auch langfristig zu mieten. In der WG verbleiben: Yanni, 26, studiert Integrated Design an der KISD und arbeitet im Stadtgarten, und Fabian, 31, studiert Film an der Kunsthochschule für Medien und arbeitet nebenbei an Filmsets im Bereich Kamera/Bildgestaltung. Beide machen gerne Sport, gehen mal ins Kino, spielen eine Runde Tischtennis oder treffen sich mit Freunden.
Wir sind kommunikative Personen und ziemlich entspannt und humorvoll und kümmern uns um die Wohnung, aber wir sind auch keine Putzfreaks. :) Wir kochen ab und an gerne und auch gerne gemeinsam und spielen ab und an mal eine Runde Skat oder Wizard.
Einige Hobbies: Schwimmen, Joggen, In Konzerte, ins Kino, Theater gehen, Natur und Seen zu erkunden, Fotografie, Lesen,
Interessen: Kino, Kunst, Deep talks, Musik, Stand-up-Comedy, Youtube und Dokumentarfilm-Content, Weltreisen planen und Urlaube machen.
Wir respektieren selbstverständlich eine geschlossene Tür und jedermenschs Bedürfnis nach Rückzug und Privatsphäre.

I’m Frieda, and I’m moving into a sublet in Ehrenfeld to shorten my commute to work for my new job, so I’ll be subletting my room. There is a possibility that the room could be rented long-term - though this is not guaranteed. The remaining flatmates are Yanni (24), who studies Integrated Design at KISD, and Fabian (29), who studies Film at the Academy of Media Arts and works on film sets (camera/cinematography) on the side. Both enjoy sports, going to the movies, playing a round of table tennis, or meeting up with friends.
We are communicative, pretty laid-back, and have a good sense of humor; we take care of the apartment, but we aren't clean freaks. :) We like cooking—sometimes together—and occasionally playing a round of Skat or Wizard.
Some hobbies: swimming, jogging, going to concerts, the cinema, or the theater, exploring nature and lakes, photography, and reading.
Interests: cinema, art, deep conversations, music, stand-up comedy, YouTube and documentary content, and planning world trips or vacations.
Naturally, we respect closed doors and everyone’s need for downtime and privacy.

Das Zimmer wird vorerst bis Ende des Jahres untervermietet - bis sich meine (Frieda) langfristige Wohnsituation geregelt hat. Es besteht eventuell die Möglichkeit dann unbefristet einzuziehen.

Wir haben einen Dachboden, Kellerabteil, Hinterhof, in dem du auch dein Fahrrad aufbewahren könntest. Der Hinterhof wird von der Hausgemeinschaft aktiv gestaltet, es gibt Sitzmöglichkeiten und Blumenbeete und im Sommer gelegentlich ein Hinterhoffest.
Der Zeitraum ist flexibel und kann auch ein paar Tage kürzer oder länger sein - und wie gesagt eventuell vielleicht auch unbefristet. Schreibt uns gerne ein paar Zeilen über euch. Wir freuen uns schon auf euch!

The room is being sublet until the end of the year for the time being—until my (Frieda's) long-term living situation is sorted out. There may be a possibility of moving in on a permanent basis after that.

We have an attic, cellar and backyard where you could also store your bike. The backyard is actively designed by the house community, there are seating areas and flower beds and occasionally a backyard party in summer.
The period is flexible and can also be a few days shorter or longer - and as mentioned potentially maybe long term. Feel free to write us a few lines about yourself. We look forward to seeing you!
