We’re Daniel (Spain) and Laura (UK). I (Daniel) work nearby at an IT company, and Laura works in a lab and at a hotel while also finishing her master’s in Biology. We’re both out quite often, me at work in the mornings and afterwards I usually do some sport or meet with friends, and Laura spends a lot of time either at the lab, studying or being out with friends too.

We’re a quiet flatshare, we usually like to chat a bit when we bump into each other in the kitchen, sometimes over a cup of tea or coffee. Since we both start working early during the week and sometimes on weekends too, the flat is quiet in the evenings and we try not to make too much noise, so we can all get a good rest.

The flat is not the biggest, it has pros and cons. It’s easy to keep clean, but it takes consistency. We have a weekly cleaning rotation schedule: each week one person cleans the common areas, and we take turns. Of course, if you make something dirty, you clean it up, no matter whose week it is. Being three in one flat, one rule is especially important, to leave the kitchen clean after you use it, washing pans and utensils so the next person can cook without having to juggle things around, and also makes the kitchen feel more spacious.

We are ideally looking for someone who also works, though we don’t rule out students. What matters most is that you have a similarly calm lifestyle and feel comfortable in that kind of atmosphere.

Soo, after rules and introductions, we are just two normal people, we both think we have some sense of humour and try to make living together something enjoyable and easygoing. If you would like to meet us and visit the flat just send a simple message introducing yourself, feel free to copy paste the message you have prepared but don't forget to add something nice for us :p
