In unserer wunderbaren WG im 8. Bezirk wird ein Zimmer frei!
Dein Zimmer ist ein lichtdurchflutetes Zimmer mit großen Fenstern (Ostseite) über den Dächern des 8ten Bezirkes.
Es ist ein klassischer Altbau mit Flügeltüren, Fischgrätenparkett und unzähligen Fenstern. Unsere 150qm Wohnung hat insgesamt 2 WCs und ein Bad. Eine zentrale geräumige Küche mit Bar bietet genug Platz für Dinner mit Freunden. Die Wohnung liegt in einem wunderschönen, 4-stöckigen Altbau-Haus mit historischem Aufzug und sehr hohen Decken. Die Aussicht aus deinem Zimmer ist phänomenal (s. Bilder).
Dein zukünftiges Zimmer liegt im vorderen Teil der WG und du hast damit den schnellsten Weg ins Bad und zur Küche;) Zudem bekommt man mehr vom WG-Leben mit und kann sich jederzeit zu den anderen Bewohner*innen gesellen. Es gibt in deinem Zimmer eine Tür zum nächsten Zimmer, die mithilfe von Schallschutzmaterial geschlossen und gedämmt wurde (siehe Foto). Dafür wird eine Ablöse von 100,- Euro erbeten. Nach Absprache könntest du die Kommode und die Couch kostenfrei übernehmen. Die Lampen gehören zum WG Inventar. Das Bett gehört noch einem alten Mitbewohner, der jetzt in der Nachbarwohnung wohnt. Du könntest dieses zumindest bis September noch nutzen und gegebenenfalls mit Ablöse übernehmen.

Your room is a light-flooded room with large windows (east side) above the roofs of the 8th district.
It is a classic old building with double doors, herringbone parquet and countless windows. Our 150sqm apartment has a total of 2 WCs and a bathroom. A central spacious kitchen with bar offers enough space for dinners with friends. The apartment is located in a beautiful 4-story old building with a historic elevator and very high ceilings. The view from your room is phenomenal (see pictures).
Your future room is located in the front part of the flat share and you have the fastest way to the bathroom and the kitchen ;) In addition, you get to see more of the WG life and can join the other residents at any time. There is a door to the next room in your room, which has been closed and insulated with the help of soundproofing material (see photo). A fee of 100,- Euro is requested for this. After consultation you could take over the drawer and the couch free of charge. The lamps belong to the WG inventory. The bed belongs to an old flatmate who now lives in the neighboring apartment. You could use it at least until September and if necessary take it over.
Die Lage ist traumhaft! Mitten im 8. Bezirk gelegen sind alle Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfes in <5 Minuten fußläufig erreichbar. Die 5er/33er Straßenbahn fährt direkt vor der Haustür ab. Die 2er ist in 3 Minuten (Albertgasse), die U6 in 5 Minuten (Josefstädter Straße) erreichbar. Auch 43/44 sowie 46 sind fußläufig erreichbar.
Unten im Haus ist die L’Osteria - die Pizzaversorgung ist also auch gesichert. Jede Menge netter anderer Lokale wie das Café Tunnel, das Biero, oder das Café Hummel sind gleich um die Ecke. Der 7. und 9. Bezirk sind jeweils in 5 Minuten, der 1. in 10' zu Fuß erreichbar. Ebenso sind Gürtel (5-10‘) und 16. Bezirk mit Brunnenmarkt und Yppenplatz (15‘) fußläufig gut erreichbar.
Das Hauptgebäude der Uni kann man ebenfalls in 15 - 20 min zu Fuß erreichen:)

The location is fantastic! Located in the middle of the 8th district, all stores of daily needs are within walking distance in <5 minutes. The 5er/33er streetcar leaves directly in front of the door. The 2er can be reached in 3 minutes (Albertgasse), the U6 in 5 minutes (Josefstädter Straße). Also 43/44 as well as 46 are within walking distance.
Downstairs in the house is the L'Osteria - so the pizza supply is also ensured. Lots of other nice places like Café Tunnel, Biero, or Café Hummel are just around the corner. The 7th and 9th districts are both within 5 minutes walking distance, the 1st within 10'. Likewise, Gürtel (5-10') and 16th district with Brunnenmarkt and Yppenplatz (15') are within easy walking distance.
The main building of the university can also be reached in 15-20 min by foot :)
Wir sind bereits seit einigen Jahren in dieser Wohnung und sind alle berufstätig und/oder im Studium. Jedenfalls stehen wir alle mitten im Leben. Es wäre also super wenn du in unserem Alter wärst (>24) und auch etwas gesettelt im Leben bist. Unser WG Leben ist familiär und vertrauensvoll. Wir verbringen alle gerne Zeit miteinander, geben uns aber auch immer genug Freiraum und Privatsphäre. Wir wünschen uns keine Zweck-WG, sondern ein freundschaftliches Zusammenwohnen. Zudem sind wir keine Party-WG, was natürlich nicht heißt, dass wir nicht auch mal zusammen feiern können.
Es ist uns sehr wichtig, dass es dir als neues WG-Mitglied ebenso wichtig ist, in einem sauberen und ordentlichen Zuhause zu leben. Bei 5 Leuten ist es da unabdingbar, dass sich jede*r an den Putzplan hält - dieser sieht vor, dass jedes Wochenende die Wohnung geputzt wird (d.h. du bist alle 5 Wochen dran) und die Gemeinschaftsräume möglichst sauber gehalten werden.
Wer sind wir?
Robin ist 32 Jahre alt und der Dienstälteste der WG. Er ist ein aufgeschlossener, lebensfroher, humorvoller und reiselustiger Mensch. In seiner Freizeit geht er gerne Bouldern, produziert Musik am PC und verpasst ungern ein Bundesliga-Spiel der Eintracht Frankfurt. Als angehender Raumplaner engagiert er sich sehr im universitären Kontext und fängt gerade an seine Diplomarbeit zu schreiben. Mit ihm habe ich viel Zeit verbracht - beim Musizieren, Playstation spielen oder Serien schauen. Zu seinen jährlichen Highlights zählt neben zahlreichen Konzertbesuchen das Lighthouse-Festival und er freut sich über jede Person die mitkommen würde.
Tava ist 27 Jahre alt, eine sehr liebevolle Mitbewohnerin. Sie studiert Communications in Budapest, und arbeitet viel nebenher. Sie ist unsere Queen of Pop References und hält uns immer auf dem neuesten Stand darüber, was im Marvel-Universum vor sich geht. Tava ist pflanzenverliebt und räumt jeden 2. Tag ihr Zimmer um. Außerdem ist sie auf willhaben oft auf der Suche nach den neuesten Schnäppchen, die sie dann wieder weiterverkaufen kann. Sie hat auch in den stressigsten Phasen immer einen Spruch auf den Lippen und lässt sich nicht so leicht die Laune vermiesen. Wenn sie nicht auf der Arbeit oder in ihrem kleinen Reich ist, dann findet man sie am ehesten in der Nationalbibliothek oder bei Pizza Disco Volante genüsslich eine Pizza Marinara verspeisen. Tava ohne Tame Impala ist wie Aperol ohne Spritz.
Sebi ist mit 24 Jahren der Jüngste der WG, auch wenn er nicht so aussieht. Er geht gerne ins Gym (wenn nicht gerade Klausurenphase ist) und probiert alle möglichen Sportarten aus. Derzeit sind Schwimmen und Tennis seine Favoriten. Sebi studiert Wirtschaftsrecht an der WU - fängt allerdings im Sommer ein Biologie Studium an. Seine Begeisterung für die Tierwelt färbt schnell ab. In der WG ist er ein ruhiger Zeitgenosse, verbringt aber viel Zeit in der Küche und ist immer für ein nettes Gespräch zu haben.
Janosch, 27 Jahre alt, studiert Psychologie. Er ist ein offener, fürsorglicher Mitbewohner mit dem man sich auch gern mal in längeren, tiefgründigen Gesprächen wiederfinden kann. Neben dem Studium hat Janosch jede Menge Dinge geplant und wird ab Mitte Sommer für 6 Monate eine Auslandsemester in den USA verbringen und sein Zimmer für die Zeit untervermieten (die Anzeige ist ebenfalls online). Janosch hat in dieser WG ein echtes Zuhause gefunden und verlässt uns nur ungern für die kommende Zeit.
Zum Schluss noch kurz zu mir. Ich bin Daniel und schließe gerade mein Psychologie Studium ab und werde danach zurück in meine Heimatstadt Leipzig ziehen um meinen weiteren Lebensweg gehen. In den vergangenen drei Monaten habe ich hier zur Zwischenmiete gelebt und mich sehr wohl gefühlt (Ich kenne die WG schon seit 5 Jahren). Ich hoffe, dass du dich mindestens genauso wohlfühlen wirst wie ich!

We have already been in this apartment for a few years and are all working and/or studying. Anyway, we are all in the middle of life. So it would be great if you were our age (>24) and also somewhat settled in life. Our WG life is familiar and trusting. We all like to spend time together, but we always give each other enough space and privacy. We do not want a purpose WG, but a friendly living together. Furthermore, we are not a party flat, which of course does not mean that we can't party together from time to time.
It is very important to us that you as a new WG-member also want to live in a clean and tidy home. With 5 people, it is essential that everyone sticks to the cleaning schedule - this includes cleaning the apartment every weekend (i.e. it is your turn every 5 weeks) and keeping the common rooms as clean as possible.
Who are we.
Robin is 32 years old and senior of the WG. He is an open-minded, fun-loving, humorous person who loves to travel. In his free time he likes to go bouldering, produce music on his PC and doesn't like to miss a Bundesliga match of Eintracht Frankfurt. As a prospective spatial planner he is very involved in the university context and is just starting to write his diploma thesis. We often spend time together on his sofa - making music, playing Playstation or watching series. One of his yearly highlights is the Lighthouse-Festival, besides numerous concert visits, and he is happy about every person who would come along.
Tava is 27 years old, a very loving roommate. She studies Communications in Budapest, and works a lot on the side. She is our Queen of Pop References and always keeps us up to date on what is going on in the Marvel Universe. Tava is a plant lover and rearranges her room every 2nd day. She's also often on the lookout on willhaben for the latest bargains to resell. Even in the most stressful times, she always has something to say and doesn't let it spoil her mood easily. When she's not at work or in her little empire, you're most likely to find her at the National Library or enjoying a pizza marinara at Pizza Disco Volante. Tava without Tame Impala is like Aperol without Spritz.
Sebi, at 24, is the youngest of the WG, even if he doesn't look it. He likes to go to the gym (when it's not exam time) and tries out all kinds of sports. Currently, swimming and tennis are his favorites. Sebi is studying business law at WU - but will start studying biology in the summer. His enthusiasm for the animal world is rubbing off quickly. In the shared flat he is a quiet contemporary, but spends a lot of time in the kitchen and is always up for a nice chat.
Janosch, 27 years old, studies psychology. He is an open, caring roommate with whom you can sometimes find yourself in longer, more in-depth conversations. Besides his studies, Janosch has a lot of things planned and will be spending a semester abroad in the US for 6 months starting mid-summer and will sublet his room for the time (the ad is also online). Janosch has found a real home in this WG and is reluctant to leave us for the coming time.
Finally, a quick word about me. I'm Daniel and I'm just finishing my psychology studies. After that I will move back to my hometown Leipzig to continue my life. In the past three months I have lived here and felt very comfortable (I have known the WG for 5 years). I hope you will feel at least as comfortable as I do!
Wir dulden in dieser WG keine Form extremistischer politischer, fundamentalistischer Ansichten. Konkret heißt das: Hier ist kein Platz für Homophobie, Transfeindlichkeit, Rassismus, etc. Dieser Punkt ist indiskutabel. Wir pflegen ein tolerantes und respektvolles Miteinander.
Die Miete beträgt derzeit 570 Euro. Im September erhalten wir die Jahresabschlussrechnung, weshalb etwaige Änderungen möglich sind (nach unserem derzeitigen Wissen könnte sich die Miete sogar verringern).
Bei Einzug ist die Kaution (1200,- Euro) und die Ablöse für den Schallschutz (100,- Euro) zu zahlen. Zudem besteht nach Absprache die Möglichkeit zur kostenfreien Übernahme einiger Möbel.
Wir freuen uns dich zwischen dem 30. Juni - 7. Juli bei uns in der WG kennenzulernen. Schreib uns gern schon etwas zu dir und deiner Persönlichkeit, sodass wir uns ein erstes Bild von dir machen können. We do not tolerate any form of extremist political, fundamentalist views in this WG. Specifically, this means: There is no place for homophobia, transphobia, racism, etc. here. This point is out of the question. We cultivate a tolerant and respectful coexistence.
The rent is currently 570 euros. In September we will receive the year-end statement, so any changes are possible (according to our current knowledge, the rent could even decrease).
When moving in, the deposit (1200,- Euro) and the fee for the soundproofing (100,- Euro) have to be paid. In addition, there is the possibility to take over some furniture free of charge after consultation.
We are looking forward to meeting you in our flat-sharing community between June 30 and July 7. Please write us something about yourself and your personality, so that we can get a first impression of you.
