Schönes 20m² Zimmer mit toller Aussicht in WG mit Katzen / Beautiful 20m² room with a view in flatshare with cats

Die Lage des Hauses ist in einer Seitenstraße und deswegen sehr ruhig. Die Wohnung liegt im Westen Leipzigs (Altlindenau/Leutzsch) nahe der Haltestelle Diakonissenhaus. Innerhalb von 15-20 Min bist du mit der Straßenbahn 7 am Hauptbahnhof. In einem Radius von 5-10 Minuten findest du außerdem Kaufland, dm, zwei Bioläden, REWE, Penny, Rossmann, Aldi und Konsum. Die Georg-Schwarz-Straße und deren unmittelbare Umgebung hat außerdem kulturell einiges zu bieten und ist von Plagwitz ebenso nicht weit entfernt.

The apartment building is located in a side street, so it’s very quiet around here. We live in the western part of Leipzig (Altlindenau/Leutzsch) very close to the station “Diakonissenhaus”. You can reach the city center within 15-20 minutes by tram 7 or by bike. Within a 5-10 minute radius there are several shopping facilities, such as Kaufland, dm, two organic stores, REWE, Penny, Rossmann, Aldi and Kosum. And by the way, there are a lot of cultural events and projects going on around here (Georg-Schwarz-Str.) and Plagwitz is just around the corner.

Du teilst die WG mit uns, Anna (24) und Lena (19)

Ich (Anna) wohne seit dreieinhalb Jahren in Leipzig und bin Anfang März 2018 in die WG eingezogen. Im August 18 habe ich eine Ausbildung zur Orthopädieschuhmacherin begonnen und bin tagsüber auf der Arbeit. Ich lebe größtenteils vegetarisch, bin politisch interessiert und gerne für Gespräche über die verschiedensten Themen zu haben. Ich bin eigentlich eine sehr entspannte und unkomplizierte Mitbewohnerin, zu der man schnell einen Zugang finden kann. Allerdings vor allem am Wochenende, ein Vollzeitjob macht müde ;)
Vorwarnung: in meinem eigenen Zimmer herrscht meist Chaos, allerdings bleibt es da drin und breitet sich nicht (allzu sehr) auf die Gemeinschaftsräume aus.

Ich bin Lena und studiere in Halle Soziologie und Psychologie, wohne seit Mai 2019 hier in der WG, aber schon seit September '18 in Leipzig. Durch mein Studium und anderes bin ich eigentlich immer gut verplant und gar nicht so oft (vor allem meist nicht nachmittags bis abends) zu Hause. Trotzdem bin ich, wenn ich dann mal in der Küche auftauche (und mir etwas veganes zu essen mache), auch offen für einen Plausch und habe mir eigentlich auch vorgenommen mehr am WG Leben teilzunehmen, oft falle ich bisher aber einfach müde ins Bett oder bin gleich wieder auf dem Sprung.

Neben uns wohnen noch zwei Miezen: Gizmo und Fluse, in der WG - wobei deren Beteiligung an der Hausarbeit zu wünschen übrig lässt ;) (Nenn doch bitte die Namen unserer Miezen in deiner Nachricht an uns, damit wir wissen, dass du den Beschreibungstext gelesen hast :)) Die beiden kuscheln suuper gerne und schlafen am liebsten in den Betten, wobei du auch gern deine Zimmertür nachts schließen kannst, um in Ruhe zu schlafen. Wenn du tagsüber nicht da bist, wäre es allerdings cool, wenn du deine Zimmertür angelehnt lassen könntest, damit die Katzen mehr (Spiel-)Raum haben. Circa alle drei Monate wird Anna für 3-5 Wochen nicht da sein, da ihre Ausbildung mit Blockunterricht in der Berufsschule einhergeht. Du und Lena werden in dieser Zeit für die Katzen verantwortlich sein.

Auch abgesehen davon möchten wir uns die Verantwortung und Arbeit, die mit den Miezen verbunden ist, gerne in der WG teilen und es ist wichtig, dass die Katzen von allen in der WG als Bereicherung gesehen werden und nicht als "tolerierte Nervensägen". Wir (Anna, Lena und die Miezen) würden dich also gerne kennenlernen, wenn du Lust hast, mit uns zusammenzuleben (und nicht aneinander vorbei.) :)

About Anna:
I have been living in Leipzig for 3 1/2 years now and moved into this apartment in March 2018. I dropped out of university and started job training as an orthopaedic shoemaker in August 2018. I'm a vegetarian, politically interested and up for debates of any kind. I'm an easy to get along with and relaxed person. I'm often a bit tired on weeknights and need my beauty sleep ;)

About Lena:
I'm Lena and I study sociology and psychology in Halle, I've been living in the WG here since May 2019, but in Leipzig already since September '18. I'm mostly busy because of my studies and other stuff and that's why I don't spend that much time at home (especially not in the afternoon or evenings). Nevertheless I am looking forward to having a little chat in the kitchen with you when I appear there (to make me some vegan food). I aim to take a larger part in the WG life, but I often only fall tired in my bed or have to leave soon again.

Besides the two if us, there are two cats, Gizmo and Fluse, living here, even though their participation in household chores leaves a lot to be desired ;) (Please mention the name of our cats in your message to us, so that we can be sure you read our text :)) They like to cuddle and prefer to sleep in beds, but of course you can close the door for a relaxed night of sleep. If you're not at home during the day it would be cool if you could leave the door open though so that the cats have more room to play.

I, Anna, will be gone for 3-5 weeks every few months because of schooling for my job training. You and Lena would be responsible for taking care of the cats in that time, but also in general I want to share the responsibility and work that comes with having cats. It's also very important to me that everyone in this flatshare will see the cats as beloved roommates/'family members' and not as annoying little creatures you need to tolerate in order to live here. However, financially speaking, I will cover all costs for cat supplies, trips to the vet, treatments etc.

Generally speaking we're hoping for a sociable flatshare that likes to sit and chat, go out and do things together occasionally, cooks and bakes and enjoys playing with the cats. We (the cats, Anna and Lena) would like to get to know you if you fancy living together instead of just coexisting. :)

Was uns wichtig ist, ist dass die WG tabakrauchfrei bleibt (auch wenn Anna in der Wohnung dampft) und gerne auch bevorzugt Leute einziehen, die vegan oder vegetarisch leben, wobei das auch kein Muss ist. Worauf wir sonst noch wert legen, ist dass unser Wohnraum ein diskriminierungsfreier Ort bleibt (kein Platz für Rassismus, Sexismus, Trans- und Homophobie, Abelismus, Ageismus etc.) - Queers, Trans- und nicht-binäre Menschen sind herzlich willkommen. Worauf wir keine Lust haben, ist eine rein zweckmäßige WG, in der alle aneinander vorbeileben. Stattdessen möchten wir gerne in einer Gemeinschaft leben und Zeit miteinander verbringen - natürlich kann mensch sich auch gerne zurückziehen, wenn Bedarf nach Privatsphäre besteht. Da Anna vollzeit arbeitet und Lena auch ihren Schlaf braucht, ist auch eine Party-WG nicht in unserem Sinne. Zum gemeinschaftlichen WG-Leben gehört für uns, dass wir aufeinander und die jeweiligen Bedürfnisse der anderen Rücksicht nehmen, z.B. in puncto Lautstärke, da die Wände in der Wohnung doch recht hellhörig sind und dass wir die Wohnung auch als Rückzugsort respektieren. Eine offene und ehrliche Kommunikation, in der mensch z.B. Dinge, die einen stören, oder die verbessert werden können, konstruktiv ansprechen kann, sollte gegeben sein. Du solltest ein gewisses Grundverständnis für Ordnung haben. Den Putzplan können wir uns gemeinsam erstellen.
In den Kosten (238€) sind neben der Warmmiete auch anteilig die Kosten für Internet sowie Strom enthalten. Außerdem teilen wir den Rundfunkbeitrag in der WG solidarisch, und sind auch im Mieterschutzbund, dieser Kosten sind ebenfalls schon entfalten.

Da wir uns erst kürzlich eine neue Waschmaschine angeschafft haben, müsstest du dich mit deinem Vormieter besprechen, wie viel er von seinem Anteil zurück möchte (90€). Die Kaution beträgt 250€.

So what’s important to us? We want the flat to stay a (tobacco) smoke-free zone and would prefer to live with vegan or vegetarian people, although that's not a dealbreaker. Apart from that it’s very important to us that our home is a place free of discrimination (racism, sexism, trans- and homophobia, ageism etc.). Queer, trans and non binary people are absolutely welcome. What we don’t want is a flatmate using the room only as a crash pad. Instead we want to create a comfortable space and spend some time together. Of course you can always have time alone for yourself - we need to respect each others' privacy. As I Anna has a fulltime job and even Lena needs to sleep sometimes, we do not want to be a "party-flatshare". It’s also important to us that we always respect and consider each others needs and boundaries, e.g. in terms of volume/noise, because our walls are not very soundproof and we need our beauty sleep to stay functional. Furthermore we want our home to be respected as our safe haven. We like to practise honest and constructive communication and that everyone feels alright communicating what disturbs them & can be improved. You should also be willing to clean. Having said that, my (Anna's) room is usually a big mess, but I don't let that spread into our shared spaces (at least I try my best but I think if you're not a compulsively tidy person, we should be fine).

The costs (238€) include the rent, internet and electricity, “Rundfunkbeitrag” on a solidarity basis (6€ monthly), as well as we are member of the German Tenants' Protection Association.

We recently purchased a new washing machine which cost us 125€ each, you'll have to talk to the one moving out, how much of that he wants back (90€). The safety deposit will be 250€. If you like what you’ve read we(the cats, Anna and Lena) would very much like to hear from you!
