DEUTSCH: Die Wohnung wurde vor meinem Einzug vor einem Jahr vollständig renoviert, ich ziehe jetzt leider aus beruflichen Gründen aus. Sie besteht aus einem Wohn- und Schlafzimmer, einer separaten Küche, einem Flur der auch als Büro genutzt werden kann, einem Badezimmer mit Badewanne und einer Abstellkammer. Sie ist nur an Einzelpersonen zu vermieten, und besonders für Studenten und Doktoranden wegen der Uni-nähe attraktiv. Die Küche ist mit einer Spülmaschine, Kühlschrank, Backofen und Ceranfeld Herdplatten ausgestattet, die zur Wohnung gehören. Im Keller habe ich vor weniger als einem Jahr einen neuen Waschtrockner installiert, der übernommen werden soll. Wunderschön im Sommer ist die ruhige, grüne Lage sowie der Innenhof zu dem nur Anwohner Zutritt haben. Ich bevorzuge Nachmieter, die meine Möbel übernehmen möchten.
ENGLISH: The flat has been fully renovated before I moved in a year ago, I now have to move out so soon for work-related reasons. The flat consists of a combined living-room and bedroom, a separate kitchen, a corridor that's also used as office, a bathroom with bathtub, and a small store-room. It's only rented to singles, and especially attractive for students and researchers due to the close proximity to the university. The kitchen comes with a dishwasher, oven, fridge, and ceramic stove top. Less than a year ago, I bough a new washer-dryer which should be taken over. The quiet and green location is great for the summer, as is the resident-only courtyard. I will prioritize applicants with interest in taking over most of the furniture.
DEUTSCH: Die Wohnung liegt mitten in der stadt, und weniger als 10min zu fuß vom RWTH Hauptgebäude und vom Marktplatz entfernt. Trotz der zentralen Lage, ist sie ruhig, da sie in einer geschlossenen Gasse liegt (also keine Autos). Es gibt sogar einen Garten mit Kinderspielplatz im Innenhof.
Es gibt mehrere Bushaltestellen in nur 2min Fußweg mit vielen Bussen in alle Richtungen, und der Bahnhof Schanz ist auch nur 6min Fußweg entfernt. Ein Netto liegt quasi vor der Haustüre, und Busse zu Kaufland/Lidl/Aldi ebenso. Erwähnenswert ist auch, dass die bekannte "Del Negro" Eisdiele sich fast direkt gegenüber befindet, also für den Sommer ideal. Insgesamt bin ich mit der Lage absolut zufrieden!
ENGLISH: The appartment is located in the center of the city, one can reach the RWTH's main building or the market square in less than 10 minutes by foot. Still, the location is relatively quiet for its centrality, because the appartment is not facing any street. There's even a quiet garden with a children's playground in the resident's courtyard.
Multiple bus stops are within 2min by foot, with busses going into all directions. The Schanz train station is also just 6min away by foot. There's a "Netto" supermarket almost in front of the door, and busses going to Kaufland/Lidl/Aldi supermarkets as well. It's also worth mentioning that Aachen's most popular ice-cream shop "Del Negro" is right in front of the door too, which is ideal for the summer. Overall, I am very pleased with my appartment's location!
