Hello,
as we're leaving for holidays in France, we rent our flat for 15 days from Saturday the 15th of August until the 30th (Sunday).
Our flat is 62 sqm located in the center of the lively neighborhood of Schillerkiez in Neukölln.
At the second floor of a renovated old Berlin building, the flat is really bright, especially in summer. It has everything needed for cooking or chilling in the flat. It is ideal for a couple, but has enough room to host a small family (maximum 4 adults, with the convertible sofa).
We are looking for respectful visitors (ready to give our plants a drink once in the week). Unfortunately, the flat is not suitable for party-monsters, as our neighbors cherish their quiet times at home.
Schillerkiez, nestled between Hermannstrasse and the huge park Tempelhofer Feld, is a trendy neighborhood of Neukölln. You can both enjoy the youthful rhythm of quirky bars and cafés and the family tranquility of the area.
Many facilities are to find within a 5 min walk distance, from Aldi to Bio company.
Leinestrasse (Ubahn 8) is 2 min walk distance, and connects you directly to the city-center (Mitte : Alexanderplatz etc), so the flat is ideally located for newcomers or tourists in Berlin for the summer time.
Talking about summer, the well talked-about park "Tempelhofer Feld" (the former Berlin Airlift) is just next door, and gives you a great idea of what is a relaxed, bohemian atmosphere in Berlin during the Indian summer. There are also plenty of parks options all around in a less than 15 minutes walk distance.
