Bright large room in Schoneberg-Friedenau

Hello,

I am going back to Italy for a month and subletting my much loved room in Schoneberg.

Room and apartment:

The apartment is in an old building with high ceilings, wooden floors and thick walls which keep it nice and fresh in summer.
The room is completely furnished. There is a double bed, sofa, dresser, desk and mirror, clothes hanger. There is also some artwork (nothing too fancy) hanging from the walls and good lighting.
The kitchen comes with a stove, oven, sink, refrigerator and dishwasher.
The bathroom is in good conditions, and includes a washing machine. We have a lot of storage space and a walk-in wardrobe for jackets and shoes. There is a spacious closet in the hallway where everything else can be stored.
There is also a bike storage room on the ground floor.
I have one other housemate, Marie, a lovely German girl with whom I sometimes like to cook, laugh, play cards or go on trips to buy ice cream together. (Only 5 minutes from the house is Jones, the best ice cream shop in Berlin).

Location:

The apartment is a four-minute walk from the S + U train station Bundesplatz (Ringbahn and U9) and seven minutes from the U3 (Rüdesheimer Platz). By bike you can be on the S1 (Friedenau) in five to ten minutes.
You can also get anywhere else in Berlin quickly, for example the Kudamm in just under ten minutes from the front door to the department store door.

Friedenau is a peaceful and green residential area where everything can be taken care of, you can have a coffee and ice cream, go for a drink with friends or soak in the summer air whilst reading a good book.

The Volkspark is not far for a bit green and a picnic or evening run. All houses have front gardens, with many different flowers (ours has roses). It takes only 20 minutes to go to the lakes by bike!
