We are renting out our lovely cosy apartment for 10 days as we are going to visit family for Christmas. The flat comes with all modern fittings and appliances, and is very light and spacious. The kitchen is fully equipped with a Bosch dishwasher, kettle, toaster, electric cooker, microwave, espresso maker etc. The bathroom has a good shower with decent water pressure, bathtub, and washing machine. There is also wi-fi internet.
The balcony is inhabited by our rabbits, but there is a very large window in the living room which feels just like sitting outdoors. Smokers can use the balcony, but please note that smoking is not allowed anywhere indoors. The apartment is on a very quiet residential road and is very peaceful. The bedroom has a cosy loft bed and a desk.
The rabbits will need a small amount of care but they are very easy animals to look after. The rent is very cheap to account for this.
The apartment is well situated, being in a beautiful area and close to Hermannplatz (U8 and U7) Schoenleinstr (U8) and Goerlitzer Bahnhof (U1). Reichenberger Str is very close and has lots of lovely bars and cafes, as well as the M29 bus which is very useful for getting around. The Turkish Market is a 15 minute walk away and is a great place to buy fruits and vegetables, whilst the river is very close and is a lovely place to walk on a sunny day. Goerlitzer Park is right next to the house, as is Wiener Str.
We have 2 bicycles that can be borrowed by whoever rents the apartment. They make getting to the U-bahn a lot easier!
The rabbits need to be fed and given fresh water every day, and we usually let them run around in the apartment in the morning and evening. If you are planning to be out during the day, that is perfect as they sleep all day but are active early in the morning and late afternoon - nightfall. I have put a list together with everything that needs to be done to make it easier.
