Die U1/3-Bahn Haltestelle "Schlesisches Tor" ist fußläufig eine Minute entfernt, zur S-Bahn Warschauer Straße sind es zu Fuß ca. 10 Minuten. Von dort ist es jeweils eine Station zum Ostbahnhof und/oder Ostkreuz.
Die Straße und die Gegend ist voller Restaurants, Bars, Kneipen, die Oberbaumbrücke oder Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die East Side Gallery befinden sich vor der Haustür. Für einen Spaziergang sind der Görlitzer Park und der Treptower Park schnell zu erreichen.
