The apartment is 110sq.m. and non-smoking. It houses 2-3 people in two small sleeping rooms overlooking the historic backstreets of Berlin. One is suitable for a single person or a child, the other for a single/couple. The apartment has a beautiful huge kitchen, an even larger dining room and and even bigger again living room, and for good measure, a large balcony as well.
The kitchen is modern and built-in, clean and very functional. Obviously, there is a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a stove, and an oven with an air-vent above it. The dining room is furnished with a large table and several chairs. All dishes, cutlery, and glassware are provided. The living room is set up with a sound system, the television also receives Sky (Germany) allowing you to watch German sports. There are windows from wall-to-wall, so the living and dining rooms are very bright. Like in any living room, there is a sofa. The balcony is set up with a table and chairs, which might not be so desirable in Winter - unless you're a smoker. The internet connection is fast and stable. The bathroom has a bathtub and a shower, there are two toilets in total. The washing machine is also a tumble dryer. The smaller bedroom has a single bed and closets, the larger bedroom has a double bed and closets.
Nearby public transport connections include the U2 (200m); the U6 (600m); 248 (800m); M48 (50m); plus a taxi-stand (700m). Nearby supermarkets include Lidl (200m) and Rewe (600m). A fresh fruit grocer, a bakery, Tedi and Rossman are directly across the road. There are multiple bakeries and cafés nearby - there's good coffee in the neigbourhood. Restaurants in the vicinity are mostly "fine".
The apartment is available from the 1st of March, unfortunately it has been rented already until the end of February, making a viewing only possible immediately (before the 20th of January) or not at all. For that case, I will have photographs to send you of the apartment, and will glady contact you personally to talk about it, before we make any decisions.
I have been organising my WG for over 7 years now and have a lot of experience with this process. Please respect that I do not post pictures online directly - I have had my images stolen to use for fake ads, where people tried to con others out of rent for fake apartments, and I got grilled because I used the same (my own, not-stolen photos). In case a viewing is not possible,I will, on this occassion, be willing to send photos to anybody interested once we've communicated a little.
